Of all of the things ESPN does that I hate, Sports Science might be the most hated from my end. His mere pronunciation transforms me into a state of pure rage. I literally could not watch this.

What I thought was interesting was his vertical and his standing pass catching range. The fact that they tested 6'5" Plax and he had less range than Floyd was very interesting.

I watched it but I remembered why I hate Sports Science. For me it's the stupid statistics and the loosely related examples to give a viewer "perspective".

Michael Floyd runs a 4.47! That's how long Matt Leinart's pro career lasted!

When Justin Blackmon catches a football each of his fingers use over 2 pounds of force! That's as much force as it takes to choke a baby seal!

Urban Meyer averages 10.3 lies to a recruit per official visit! That's as many as I tell my girlfriend on Saturday morning!

Floyd to Rams BUT not at 6, Rams trade down again

Saw somewhere Floyd is meeting with Rams and Adam Scheftner (Sp?) said the Rams would be open to trading down again

I hate the pats, but I'm a fan of Notre Dame players, especially the guys that stay all 4 years. The pats would be good for Floyd. Floyd would get his numbers with Brady and later with Mallet. Plus, they win, which is something that I wish Floyd could have experienced more of in his 4 year at ND.

DId this guy ever pan out? I saw that he signed an LOI back in 08.....

Pats won't take him, like Wooly said, they'll trade down and stock pile picks. It's not their MO to trade up. And it's worked FOR YEARS. Why the hell would they deviate from that now?

I don't think Mallet will ever see the field unless Brady goes down with an injury again. Hopefully it won't matter because hopefully the Pats won't draft Floyd.

There's been talk that this year maybe they do actually trade up to draft play makers/difference makers on D-- something they're desperately lacking, and have been for a few years. The thought being that Bill Belichick might see that stockpiling picks the last several years hasn't helped his team much out recently...and that he may have to acknowledge (at least personally or within the organization) that some of his draft picks haven't really panned out and that that strategy has not worked. Brady, Welker, some of the OL, and Wilfork only have a couple year window to win.

Who knows what will happen in a couple weeks, but some of the talking heads on the NFL Network, ESPN, etc. think that this year may be different than what his MO has been.

Tom Brady gets what Tom Brady wants. If its Floyd then I would not be surprised.

I'm hoping some teams cool off on Floyd, so he can fall to my hometown Bengals for one of their picks at 17 or 21 (thank you Oakland, taking Palmer away for so much). Floyd and AJ Green on opposite sides of the field? I could only wish

I hate the Pats probably more than I like any pro team, but I'd always root for Michael.

Just Michael though.

He didn't get Moss back when he publicly supported it.

Belichek gets what Belichek wants, and that is more picks. Belichek has never picked a WR with a first round pick and the Patriots haven't picked a WR in the first round since '96.

I am very confident that you will not see Floyd a Patriot.

Fine by me here. It would hurt me to have to root for the Pats.

I haven't seen one team mentioned that actually want to see Floyd on.

It is too bad that the possibility of him ending up with the Bears is looking slim.

LMAO. I was thinking the exact same thing 2 days ago.I'm in Cincy and would give anything to see him and AJ on the same team w/ Dalton...that would be EPIC!
However...not a chance in hell it happens unless the Bengals move up their draft status to the Top10...it's looking like Floyd will go somewhere between 6-10.

What would that look like in terms of dollar signs? Just curious if you or anyone else knows the difference in contract amount between 1-5, 6-10, 11-20. It's significant, no?

Scott Wright @DraftCountdown
By packaging #22 & #37 the Browns could move up as high as #10 overall and come away with both Trent Richardson and Michael Floyd...

That would make for a damn good draft day.
