Good God he is ferocious. Love that tape. I'm leaning toward OG for him, just based on the depth chart (although obviously it may depend on what other recruits we get this cycle). Much easier to switch from OG to DT than the reverse, right? DT is the least complicated position in football.

Is he the one in the 247 update?

Of the few DT we are pursuing he seems to be most likely as of now to lean NDs way

@DMunger_95 Watching the o line practice at notre dame http://t.co/5UPuJ8bB”

I would love to get this kid. But sometimes a simple picture like this makes me jealous for this kids. They literally get to be taken around the beautiful campus, sit up close and personal to practice, if they choose to get to attend a free game, and ultimately get a free education at one of the best schools in the country. Just hope they all appreciate it. I know most that come to ND do.

I'm not sure that's really been discussed with Munger. Are you sure you aren't referring to Latham?

You're right....I was thinking of Laham. My bad, over on ISD, he said he's open to any side of the ball, that he, indeed, did not have a preference.

I really like this kid as a guard, he has great drive in his legs and personally I think he has a higher ceiling as a guard than a DT, but either way he would be a great get!

This is great. Could even put some overt pressure on Pocic, even if he's leaning elsewhere. Still, enough great candidates out there that the first OL to commit would only complete an already nasty OL class.

Hypothetically speaking say Johnson commits on his visit this week, thats 4, but I would still take Munger and Lantham if they want in for their versatility on either the offensive or defensive lines

You are absolutely right! Can't have enough big men that want to be at ND! especially if they can play either side of the ball!

Any chance we could still take Monster Munger here?

We're we considering him OL or DL?

I could see him being an easy cross.

I think we would take him. We have four OTs and a DE. Munger is an OG/DT. Seems to make sense to pencil him in at DT but love that he can play offense too. Personally I loved his defensive film.

If he plays D, he seems an ideal 4-3 DT, but I could see him being a GREAT 3-4 DE and really being a force pushing plays to the outside where our LBs can light things up. If he grows, then we landed a solid NG prospect, but not many people are going to be excited about running against the DL we've brought in the last couple years.
