It's like 60 degrees here in NJ, and the rest of the week seems to follow the same pattern. So, I am getting anxious for some spring football. Any idea when it starts? I'll hangout to anything that bring the 2011 season that much closer!

Yeah that'd be awesome. Hopefully, whenND starts to win again we'll see the emergence of a ND network.

Which we are starting to see. ND basketball is doing very well, I believe womens soccer won the national title correct? Not sure about the other sports?

Yeah it would be awesome if it had national coverage. Atleast last year the B&G game was live streamed on NBC.com. I assume it will be this year also.

Just hook up the ND.com feed to your TV like I did last year. It's pretty nice. Jack Nolan is a pretty crappy announcer, but Mirko and Reggie Brooks are sweet color guys.

ND's so-called "olympic sports" are pretty good at everything as far as I've seen. Even so, it's pretty hard to sustain an entire 24-7 network with just one athletic department. I've always thought that ND should have a whole-University-subject-matter network which would trumpet all that we do, and all the sports could be a big element there. I've said that I think it's a tragedy of bonehead decision-making that I can't get a daily mass from ND for instance. And I would be delighted to watch our lacrosse guys and soccer girls and you name it rather than the crap that's usually on. Heck, I rarely get a chance to see Muffet's team kick butt more than once in a blue moon. [nothing was intended by the juxtaposition of "kicking butt" and "blue moon"... believe me...I'm a doctor.]

Baseball is the only sport that isn't elite there. Hockey has been extremely good over the past 5 years. Basketball is top 10 right now. Both lacrosse teams are top 10 coming into this season and we came within an OT goal of winning a championship last year. The year before we went 15-0 before laying an egg at home to start the playoffs.

ND is a very well rounded sports school. It's ironic that football is our worst sport.

reggie is many things, but he is very difficult to listen to. Stumbles and recorrects waaayyy too much for broadcast.
also, girls B-ball is pretty sick. skylar diggins is the whip.

Practice starts on Wednesday March 23rd.

Not sure how to copy and paste but the official practice schedule was posted by channel 16 at 6 tonight. Practice on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday until the 82nd Annual Blue-Gold Spring Football Game on April 16.

This is correct. First practice starts the Wednesday after ND's spring break.

Also the coaches clinic (featuring Urban Meyer) will take place on Friday the 25th through the 26th.
