Interest? Don't have my free trial for 247 any more

From 247 profile looks like taking it slow

His offer was dependent on His transcripts which apparently have been approved.

Doesn't have break away speed but is VERY quick. Can play slot or RB. Reminds me a lot of Theo Riddick coming out.

Again, I love guys from the coastal states like MD, VA, NC, and SC. Always underrated how productive these guys are. Just look at how Va Tech seemingly grabs a lower recruiting class than many other top programs but seems to be in a BCS bowl every year.

Not ready to name them. Pumped about the Miami offer and Florida State has been sending mail. Pitt and Washington showing most interest lately.

NFTC - Baltimore RB MVP. Got the coveted invite to The Opening.

I'm not sure all the names that were at the camp, but I know Derrick Green was there.

Looks like we made his top 10, if that's news at all:

I like how we're going after different running backs in this cycle. Best to ensure depth at various positions than to put eggs in one basket.

What is it with recruits talking about their top ten? When did that start being a thing, and can we go back to a time before it?

When a kid has a top 10+, it tells me two things: (1) he has no f*cking clue what he's looking for in a school; and (2) that means he'll probably fall for the slickest sales pitch, which is virtually never ours.

That is not true at all.

These people who cover recruiting basically are begging these kids to give updates about their recruitment just about everyday. I don't think you would see recruits talking about a top 10 or 15 if you didn't have these ''insiders'' constantly asking them about it.

On the other side of it some of theses kids have 30 some offers. Where do you start? The natural progression would be knock it down to 15, then 10, then 5, 3, etc.

I agree that the recruiting services promote this kind of thing, but consider the average ND commit. Most of our guys don't name a "top 15"; they typically name a few programs with respectable academics, plus a home-town favorite or two, depending on the state they live in.

When you see a "top 5" with a strong common theme among the schools-- like academics-- that's evidence that the kid knows what he wants in a school. When you see a "top 15", especially one that changes every week, it's basically just a popularity poll based on who's recruiting the kid the hardest. We don't typically fare well with those types.

Virginia and WVU lead. Funds are the reason he hasn't visited ND so far.

I was confused for a minute when I read "Virginias" but then I remembered that, unfortunately, West Virginia exists.

Whoa whoa whoa...watch yourself. OMM will whoop your *** for a statement like that. He's seemed to have run into a lot of WV haters on this site.

Wants to cut his top 10 to a top 5. UVA (leader by a mile IMO), WVU, & Clemson will make it.

Top 4: Virginia, West Virginia, Clemson, and Ohio State. ND and Miami are on the outside of that.
