Per ISD, Daniels will be working out this summer with both Michael Floyd and Tommy Rees. Really encouraging, on all 3 player's fronts, and really shows that Davaris wants to (and probably will) come in and make an impact right away.

P.S. He is up to 185, and down to a 4.41 40. Beast.

Let's not forget my favorite Daniels' tangible-- his 41'' vertical!

Up to 185? I remember going "160? That's rather thin" watching the Under Armour Game and people were reassuring me he was at 190.

He says in the article he is up to 185 from the 170 range. This was during basketball season, so he likely lost weight (as most do) to get down to that range. Whether this is the first time he is this high, or he is simply back up to that range, I don't know.

DaVaris is going to be the next Michael Floyd, in terms of productivity throughout his career.

DaVaris is going to be a star.

Haha what a great call!

Apparently I missed the other 6 times this was posted. I was wondering why everyone kept saying that. D'oh!

Would be great if the crowd yells that whenever Davaris scores.

"Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!"

i've always been skeptical of the number, but either way dude's legit...i'd be surprised if 50% of 40s, verticals, shuttles, bench, squat numbers, etc. are completely accurate.

I'm going to do a little CSI here...
DD is about 6'4', the basket is 10', at his peak his head looks to be about even with the rim.
120" - 76" = 44" (with a few step start)

I theorize that with ideal conditions a 41" vert is plausible.

it has to deal with arm length too...plus a standing jump measures vertical not running jump.

Feet are clearly above the waist of a kid standing next to him, even with an angle that is not beneficial. In any respect, well over 36" for sure and some nice ups.

For some reason I thought he was going to be near 200 pounds when he came this summer. Then I saw he said he's up to 185, and took a look at what the sites had him at:

ESPN-164
Rivals-190
Scout-175

Talk about varying wildly. Now, is he 6'2", 6'3", or 6'4???

Believe 6'3 is accurate.

I gotta agree with Sherm, anything Riddickulous says is a dire prophecy. I really liked DD as well.

It's not like I was predicting a big year. He'll get buried on the depth chart and will be forgotten like the heroes of yesteryear.
