Filed to ESPN: Dolphins trade WR Brandon Marshall to Bears for 3rd-round pick in 2012 and 3rd-round pick in 2013. Marshall rejoins Cutler.

I dont really understand why draft picks are valued so high in football. Are two third rounders really going to be as good as Brandon Marshall? thats always puzzled me

This is a steal by the Bears. Absolute steal. You KNOW he can produce with Cutler.

And along with Marshall, the Dolphins also just traded a slim hope for landing Manning to zero hope of landing Manning.

No source.

I didnt think the he would be there for the Bears personally...hell maybe the dolphins will go after him.

Dolphins maybe now lol But honestly i just dont see him off the boards in the first 20 picks......teams have too many other needs

I would love to see the bears still get him! That would be a deadly WR combo!

Unless Manning told the Dolphins he doesn't want to play with a prima donna like Marshall. Which means they let him go to get Manning

Sure- that's a possibility too. But then that leaves the Dolphins with a mediocre running game, poor wide receivers, a mediocre at best OL, and a mediocre defense. Something tells me the riddance of Marshall won't be enough to persuade Manning to go to Miami over those other factors. In fact, I think the only thing Miami has going for it is, well, it's Miami (and Manning does have a house near there).

What a monumental trade. Complete highway robbery. Marshall was a complete beast in two years with Cutler. He's exactly what the Bears have needed. Man, I couldn't be happier.

One article speculated that Miami could simply be making room for Reggie Wayne and thus be more attractive to Payton

Just got out of a meeting hope I didn't miss anything...WHAT THE F*CK?!?!?

Ireland you idiot!! Moving Marshall is one thing (not a good idea when he's by far your best offensive weapon) but only getting two 3rd round picks in return? Ugh

The D is good but it might be hard to tell next year when they on the field for 3/4s of the game.

The Bears should be arrested for completely violating Miami on this.

I think this also speaks to the Bears feelings on Michael Floyd's chances of getting picked before their pick. If for some reason he is still there, I still hope that they grab him.

We are still in it for Mario Williams too.

It's a good day to be a Bear.

Just got back to AK on Sat. and in the middle of a nice Merseyside Derby I see the Dolphins traded Marshall for two threes. You have got to be ****in' shittin' me. We waited how long for a true #1? Now he's gone. Reggie Wayne? He isn't BMarsh. This had better be the start of something great, because that is undervalued. Ireland dude I wanna strike you.
