If we land Jaylon I will lose it. Would be huge.

What exactly will you lose? Is it worth a lot? I hope it is replaceable!

Hey wait a minute! Why don't you put a beacon on it now, so when you do lose it, you will be able to find it quickly?

You know, like - beep, beep, beep, BEEP! Oh, good, I found it!

Not sure what order but I think we land Jaylon Smith and a WR in the spring game time window or thereabouts. I also think if we ever get Hunter Bivin on campus we have a good chance of gaining a commitment shortly after. Any idea if he's rescheduled yet?

Jaylon mentioned on his twitter that he may commit in July....truth?? Don't know but you have to give it some substance since it was him who tweeted it. Now if he has an awesome time at the spring game and he is just ready to burst I can see him jumping the gun on his own timeframe since it didn't seem solid in the first place.

Nonetheless, I like your thinking and it would be nice if it came to fruition.

I guess what I'm saying is that I think it's only a matter of time before Jaylon ends up at ND... it just appears it's where he wants to be... and I wouldn't be surprised if he went public with it circa or shortly after the spring game. I also think 1 WR will decide to commit around that time... not sure who yet, but there are a lot of guys with legit interest in ND and I think at least one will decide to pull the trigger rather than risk missing out.

I think everything has been on hold for Bivin since his team made it to the state finals for basketball. I am sure we will here something shortly after this weekend.

EDIT: Just found an article posted on the UF 247 site:
I’ve had to cancel a couple visits due to basketball because we keep winning and colleges aren’t going nowhere. I had to cancel my Auburn visit, I had to cancel my Notre Dame and if we keep winning the state championship game is on March 17th and that’s when I had my visit to LSU planned.”

Everything on hold until they lose. Would like to narrow down to 5-6 soon.

How lucky is LSU, in that they may get the first chance...?

We just have to hope he gets on campus.

If he does, we got a shot.

Is Keith Ford still visiting after he committed to OU or is it just presumed he's done with the process?

Someone is going to have to make a profile for the Drennon kid out of Jersey. He's a stud and seems interested in ND. Will be here for junior day.

James Onwualu

He was on Power Hour and said he would make his decision shortly after visiting Notre Dame... Most seem to think he leaning toward Notre Dame and as long as the visit goes well he will commit soon after. Does anyone know if he is being recruited as a WR or CB?

Pretty sure, WR.

I am sure you are right Beau, but you gotta admit, if any recruit could play multiple positions in this class, he would be on that list near the top.

this has been bothering me a bit...

i apprecisate versatility too but at some point does anyone think/feel having "jacks of all trades masters of none" hurt us a bit? (no defined and specific position that can go right from HS to ND playing)

not sure ive 100% bought into the mindset of "lets recruit a guys wth Dog LB" measurables who plays TE in high school and see what happens" etc etc.

why not recruit the damn Dog straight away? LOL

I am not sure what your question is. Kelly wants the best athletes. It worked at Cinci. He picked guys who were, (maybe) in the wrong position, put them where they could play and watched their three star celings magically rise. What, maybe 25-30 % of kids are playing the "wrong" position out of high school. What's so bad about them finding the right one?
