pretty tough to make a call on if a kid will play on the right or the left at this stage in the game - I know that the article I read that NFL Pro Bowler and ESPN analyst Lomas Brown was quoted as saying he is perfect for a left tackle spot at the BCS level and that sometimes he was too quick in his decision making - which led to him being beaten on occasion.

If a kid gets pigeon holed into the right side before he even gets here (and wants to play left) ........... his interest may wane a little.

I agree, but he may have to wait a couple years and play on the right if Prestwood locks up the left. Prestwood is going to be pretty damn good.

Dropped to #6 OT and #44 overall on 247after struggling against the undersized DEs at the midwest combine.

Of course guess who moved ahead of him. Thats right, Mr. Bosch. Chris Fox who also committed to Michigan also moved up a spot to #7 OT and Taco Charlton jumped into the Top 100.

It appears that when kids commit they are going to reevaluate their film???

He already visited Michigan for that night game that Michigan won last year. He was rooting for ND to win and that's when he knew where he was going to school. I really don't expect him to change. Reminds me of Lambort who committed a year + before and never wavered.

Until LOI is signed every recruit is fair game. Meyer, Kiffen,( all SEC coaches) Etc. feel they would be doing their University a disservice by not recruiting every kid to the nth degree!! The word commitment means little to nothing to these coaches and very little to most recruits. IMHO
Not sure when this changed or if it's just more publicized now with how popular recruiting has become?? I know one thing the word "decommitted" has become more popular in the English language the last few years.

Well, since most things negative happen to us it probably isn't the case but couldn't this also mean a kid NOT committed to us committing to us.

Michigan recently contacted Steven Elmer asking if they should hold a spot for him & he said no. He's going to #NotreDame.

Also of greater significance, his father posts on BGI and said that the words were twisted in the CBS article. Michigan and Stanford do have interest but Steven has none. He knows the meaning of the word "committment."
