Not knocking gunner or questioning the staff... But at this point I would go all in on fuller and wish gk well... If any of this is legit obviously the staff knows something we don't

I had originally posted this on the Bama vs LSU thread. I thought it easily could have been a bs rumor but now since there is smoke around GK, I feel that this rumor could very well be true. Here it is:

"I just heard this from a friend with ties to the LSU athletic department. I am not sure if it is true or not but a lot of the pieces fit. Apparently about 3 hours before the game T-Bob Hebert, Russell Shepard and 2 other receivers and a hand full of linemen got into a heated argument with Les Miles and the Offensive Coordinator about Lee getting more playing time and possibly starting the BCS Championship game. It got so heated that Miles benched T-Bob and RS and 3 other players. He called Lee into his office and told Lee that he would not be playing in the game. The OC told Miles that he thought that Lee gave the team the best chance to win the game. Miles told the OC to start looking for a new job after the game and Miles will be calling the plays for the championship game. Apparently the O Line sided with T-Bob and Lee and did not give their all in the game to prove to Miles that the players are more important then the coach. Now I know that this is hard to believe but when you look at some things it kind of explains a few things: I will list some. Read option pass on 3rd and 10 4 times. Running the same 5 plays over 90% of the game. Horrible play calling. Running the ball in the 4th quarter down by 21. T-Bob not taking a snap. RS only playing 3 snaps and not hardly touching the ball or getting looked at. Lee getting off the bus and walking 10 feet behind the team with his head down and looking dejected. Heated argument between receivers and Jordan Jefferson and O Line with O line coach on sidelines. And another player reports that 2/3rds of the plays practiced were not run and the players were not told why. Again I do not know if this is entirely true but there seems to be a lot of truth in it just by seeing what happened."

From what I understand WR's Russell Shepard, Rueben Randle and Kadron Boone all declared for the draft the day after the game and as of yesterday another WR is now tranferring to Auburn (I think). There has been a ton of information coming out of Baton Rouge the last past couple days.

Just thought some of you would be interested in this. Take it for what you will.

From a poster of 247 and also saw it on some other sites. This is perhaps why GK is supposedly looking elsewhere.

hahaha man this sucks.

Mike Frank from ISD just said he thinks it is Gunner that Wiltfong is referring to.

Frank doesn't normally post stuff about rumors unless he is really hearing the same thing. TIFWIW.

That was Coach D, not Mike Frank btw. Both highly reliable sources of info, just clarifying though.

I mean if this is real, I just don't know. Gunner could sure help shore up this class though. I wonder how many people on this board who are saying this class is average (lol) would change their tune.

I hope Gunner pulls the trigger and does so quickly.

I have no idea what is going to happen, but I really have always had a hard time seeing him happy at LSU. I just don't see him fitting in with the Honey Badger and his boys. He seems like a quiet, good kid. LSU seems a little wild for him.

Edit: Tennessee or Auburn seem like better fits for him in the SEC.
