if you think he could make a 10 yard out cut from the opposite hash to the sideline please mail me what you're smoking.
Haha couldn't resist.

True, but Notre Dame needs a unique term of their own then to describe the practice, perhaps "greenshirt" haha. Because it is, for all intents and purposes, redshirting the player.
A poster on 247 claims that Everett...
-weighs around 190 and hopes to be around 200 by the fall.
-has a noticeably different build. especially his upper body.
-and has grown vertically
sounds like Longo has worked his magic, sounding more and more like he will be the frontrunner come spring

Golson's been really working on his height.
9, Jalen Collins, LSU CB: The Tigers have taken to call LSU "DBU" and the defensive backs I spoke to down in New Orleans around the BCS title game touted Collins as the next great one in the pipeline. He's a rangy 6-1, 195-pounder (up about 20 pounds since high school), who was a prep track star and really not that highly touted in the recruiting process. Teammates call him the most athletic guy on the team, which is obviously a mouthful. Don't expect him to overtake Tharold Simon in the race to replace Mo Claiborne, but Collins will be a big factor in a loaded DB rotation.
5, Kelvin Benjamin, FSU, WR: E.J. Manuel should have some very good options to throw to in 2012. The only target FSU loses is Bert Reed, but they gain the super-sized Benjamin in his place. Coaches say Benjamin is up to 245 pounds on his 6-5 frame and he still has the athleticism to get away from DBs and go up and make acrobatic catches in traffic.
he would need a growth spurt to achieve his listed 6'
Perhaps, but Doug Flutie was listed at 5-10 and won the Heisman, Maxwell, and Davey O'Brien Awards and threw for over 10,500 yds.
Some contemporary QBs LISTED at 6-0 include:
Kellen Moore Boise
Denard Robinson UM
Zach Collaros UC
Russell Wilson is only LISTED at 5-11. How that work out for him?
I'd prefer a taller QB but sometimes good things do come in small packages.
I don't care if he's 5'11", 6'11", or 4'11". If he can cut down on all those redzone mistakes Tommy made, and extend drives using his feet, I'm all aboard.
I hear what your saying, and Im a huge Golson fan, but I feel like on top his short size hes thin and small. If he puts on 10-15ish pounds by fall I would be pretty happy, on top of what hes done this season.

He's allegedly put on some solid pounds in the weight room. I think we'll be pleasantly surprised when spring ball rolls around.
Hell, you're on campus, and you know some players. You could probably find out how much he weighs now without too much creepiness/ effort.
I thought I read he was up to 195. Are you expecting to see him at 205-210 in '12?
Just from looking at him up close I would be extremely surprised if he is 185 and above 5'10. Not to say these things will hinder him being a great qb but, never the less something to keep in mind.
True, I walked by him the other day and I was a little disappointed, were about the same size, but honestly I can't form a legitamate opinion from a simple walk by.
