Amen to that!
OSU. No comment from Decker yet.
Decker said he is still committed to ND according to ISD.
I really hope that this is true. Taylor has a lot of opportunity here at Notre Dame, even restricting comment to only the football field. We have a dogfight for one of the starting tackle positions coming up wherein no proven performer [yet] can grab the spot. In the not too distant future, sadly, Zach Martin will take his talents to the NFL, and the other spot will become available. If Taylor has confidence in himself, he should see a lot of playing time potentially in front of him. AND an NFL career. Kelly's offense emphasizes in-shape, mobile linemen who show their ability to pass block and the pros really like that. Taylor's plenty big enough to get the easier brute force stuff together, but great feet and mobility benefit from a lot of the type of reps which he'll get in this system.
Stick with us young man; a bright future awaits you.
it wouldnt hurt our chances with TD (and the rest of the OL) if kelly got an OL coach hired quickly
just sayin
Is it true that he may visit Ohio St. this weekend?
It's dead period how could he be visiting this weekend....trolling?
You might be wondering why Ohio State hasn’t announced the hirings of offensive line coach Ed Warinner and tight ends coach Tim Hinton. Well, we were wondering the same thing, so we checked in with OSU to get the latest. “They have not been officially named because of HR (human resources) protocol,” an OSU spokesperson said. “Look for that late this week or early next.”
The losses of Warinner and Hinton were a huge blow to Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly, but it remains to be seen if it’s too late for the Buckeyes to flip offensive lineman Taylor Decker from Vandalia (Ohio) Butler, who is verbally committed to the Fighting Irish. Publicly, Decker is saying that he’s going to stick with his ND commitment. However, there are rumblings Decker remains torn regarding his decision and the departure of Warinner to OSU has increased Decker’s uncertainty.
Stay tuned.
we need that o line hire asap and get him out to decker's crib
It will get done soon. No source but with the final dead period ending until NSD, no way BK will waste his time with an OL coach instead of recruits. There is still a lot of work to be done and if the rumors of the OL coach from Tennessee are true, then it's a solid hire.
What is the difference between a quiet period and a dead period?
from what i recall quiet means say hey or go to his school and talk to coaches
dead means zero contact
