Has he actually been speaking to Starr? If not it could easily be some BS rumors. I am not worried about Shepard. Even if he is questioning his commitment to ND, you cannot count out our staff. Remember last recruiting cycle. Our staff is relentless and I believe that Shepard will be Irish when it's all said and done.

So whatever at this point. 15 days. Sigh. I think the fact that he's not signed up like Sheldon day is the most telling thing of all here.

If ND wins this game then recruiting will be fine and everyone stays put but if ND loses the game then all bets are off. The Fidelis bowl has to help in keeping Deontay and Tee with the other recruits being there.

While this would be crushing, I find it hard to believe that Tee has gone from 100% "married" and excited to start classes in two weeks to considering USC after the way he and Tay's visit went recently. I'll choose to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one and chalk it up to Starr being overly zealous in his recruitment of Tee.

Good point. It's funny how USC is ultimately at an advantage here for having been "punished". More time to recruit. Again, I don't believe this is as serious as it sounds just yet. However, IF IT IS, I have complete faith in the staff after what they showed us last year down the stretch.

Can you explain to me how he's allowed to talk to Kiffin about recruits directly?

Someone want to comment on the story just put up on scout.com----It has a picture of TEE, with this headline.---Shepherd "either/or" on USC and Notre Dame.

It seems to be from an interview at the all-star game and it sounds sickening to me.
