I was just commenting to my wife the other on how creepy people get re recruiting. Sure, it's fun to see how the team changes/grows etc. Its fun to follow recruiting. However, this should happen from a distance. These are teenagers. Many of them minors. Most fans are grown men. There needs to be boundaries. It is just weird the way people go after these kids. Moreover, it is sad. Let the kids enjoy their time and make their own decisions.

This is the way it goes when you are ND and you have to recruit nationally. Kids that have great programs somewhat close by them and it is an easy trip to campus will always be in it to the end. The kid will be pulled in that direction by peers and it can't be easy. ND will have to fight every year for kids like this out of California, Texas, Florida, Georgia and Ohio. If ND was in a fertile football state this wouldn't be an issue but it just so happens that they aren't and they are stuck with this. It is what it is.

I don't want to have to pay ya a 100 million vbucks, but at the end of the day, these kids have to make a choice for them. It saddens me that fans on FB and Twitter follow these recruits relentlessly, I don't mean some on here who have been respectful, but the ledge jumpers who have no clue about the game of life. I've been guilty of bashing players, and I shouldn't have ever done it, for that I apologize, but to follow recruits and players in their personal and private lives is shameful for some. I've got family issues that are far greater than where this recruit ends up or that one. I hope we land everybody that we have committed this year, and I hope they have good careers in an Irish uniform.

Unless it was a situation like Steve Elmer. Went to Michigan for the ND game, liked everything about the campus, atmosphere, school etc, but also loved ND and realized just how much he really did love ND by seeing Michigan beat them and seeing where his heart was. Possible Tee went out to USC, loved everything about it, but also loves ND. Listened to Kiffy boy flaunt their recent accomplishments, and obviously talk down on ND and their recent dominance of ND, which ultimately rubbed Tee the wrong way because he realized where his heart and loyalty is...bothered him to hear somebody else talk down on his family. In that case it could be encouraging.
Young adults, no matter how intelligent they are, are impressionable. I'm sure USC rolled out the red carpet for them. Kiffy tried, but doesnt seem like he was able to get that ring off his finger.

DGB has repeatedly said he wants to leave Cali and Tee really has been very positive towards his future at ND.

USC has gotten the last word for now with the dead period following and I'm sure Pat Haden impressed those guys.

The fact that they did not flip immediately gives me reason to believe and feel assured that they will be Irish.

Kelly and co. will be on it for sure.

Don't worry, you won't. He may not be be 110% solid at this point, but he IS married to ND. Every marriage has its ups and downs. At the end of the day, he'll be coming home.

I saw that earlier in the thread and then the whole convo with his father saying he almost flipped on the spot before Kiffin rubbed him the wrong way came out.

I think the info about the staff talking to Tee post USC got lost in the shuffle or was never really confirmed.

I don't know But, I now truly understand why women are so obsessed with soap operas.

Good read, It was nice to hear that the ND coaches got a chance to talk to them both after the visit. I'm a little relieved now, just need to get through all this crap till NSD.
