Also in the presser for the Shamrock Series it said that in the future it would be the only game where ND would wear something other than their traditional colors. The only reason I see ND wearing green this weekend is by senior request.

first off, love the Jack Burton. Personally I don't believe there will be any surprises minus the pom poms. Let's focus on the young men that will play in the stadium one last time. This one is for them. Jerseys are for Adidas.

Those helmets look stealth. Stanford has tons of money, and Palo Alto is right smack in the middle of the tech universe. These bastids are gonna disappear right in the middle of a play.

Ya the shoes are pretty legit. If ND was a nike school and had something similar I would be all over them.

Overall I like the uni's. There's something about the flat black that I like.

To be honest with you if I was designing an ND alternate uni it would probably look like something MSU wore for the UofM game. I thought those were sweet, just not for MSU.

There is absolutely nothing intimidating about looking like your football team is wearing a red pajama onesie.

The lesson here being, once again, that wearing the same color pants as your jersey almost never ever looks sharp.*

Black pants would look much more intimidating but, as is, I still think they are.

I do like that stealth look that the helmets bring, other than that might as well be wearing footie pj's.

What if ND incorporated a stealth look into their uniforms? I think that would be awesome.

I think same color jersey and pants looks good for a change of uniform. The red on red looks real good to me. Not sure how gold on gold would look
