I was told today by a football player who I am close with that Jordan told him he was committing, but couldn't yet because of sat scores, but that the scores won't be a problem he just couldn't commit yet.

Wow, that's great if it's true. What an incredible offer list this kid has.. aaaand there goes the imagination..

This kid is a crucial pickup! We are not deep at Wideout so we will need freshman to step in and contribute next year!

If we get Payton, the average height/ weight of our incoming WRs will be 6'2'' 196 lbs. as high school freshman. Think of what that will do for our running game with down-field blocking.

Floyd is a beast at blocking, but Riddick and Jones are both sub-par in that category. When Kelly has Floyd-like size and strength at every WR position, we're going to be a nightmare to defend.

You are so correct. These kids sizes are amazing and if they can all block half as good as Floyd then it will greatly help our running game. I really like Payton and hope he is Irish when it's all said and done.

Maybe Treggs is just throwing Cal in there on his own, maybe not, but there was a lot of talk on the skunkbears winning this battle until he visited.

Cal is living proof that electric NFL players = good recruiting. Guys like Treggs idolize Desean Jackson, and I'm sure that is playing a big part in Cal getting top-tier receivers recently. We need our own DJax, and maybe Darby or Atkinson will be that guy on ST.
