High school kids are fickle, and I think anyone who is legitimately concerned has every right to be. Will he EE? Yes. Is concern justified though? Yes.

In fairness, it is much easier to be calm now than it was last night. All of a sudden we heard: that there was a problem with his early enrollment; that he was pissed about it; and that, as a result, he was going to be taking some other visits. Now, I'm usually one of those that hates when people get all jealous-girlfriend when a kid wants to take a visit, but in the context of what else we were being told it was easy to read that as he was opening up his recruitment.

Thankfully, word came a little later (first from plugged-in posters, then from Tee himself) not to worry. So now it is easy not to worry. Last night, for about 45 minutes or so, it seemed that Notre Dame had not only lost a recruit, but betrayed some of the values that are the reason a lot of us give a damn about the university in first place. So at the time I think the undudeness was warranted.

I wasn't wagging my finger at anyone. That news ruined my night as well. I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to invoke Walter's wisdom.

I literally imagined this recruiting class crumbling to pieces at one point last night.. It got a little carried away but justifiably so.

Tee and Deontay are vital.

Yup. From my understanding it's more of a "take them because we can" attitude. DGB has been all out ND from day one, as well as Tee.. As long as NDs administration takes care of their end of the commitment I think we're fine.
