Mike Vick is slightly taller and faster than Denard (actually, much faster in his prime... but that is neither here nor there). He also has far better arm strength and is more accurate.

So I really don't like making that comparisons like that because Vick in an exception to the height rule because of his rare attributes. Just because a guy "looks similar" to someone doesn't mean they can have that kind of success. There is a reason Vick was a top NFL pick and Denard won't even get drafted as a QB (but might make it as a WR/CB).

While he is clearly an exceptional TALENT he is not anything special in size. This topic wasn't questioning talent it was "How would Golson see over the linemen."

Not having a super bowl ring matters none to the topic at hand. As I recall we don't have a National Championship in the past two decades.

Per SuperPrep.com Banner will will an Official Visit for the ND/UM game this weekend. He'll make an Official to ND on 10/22 for USC. He visits OU on 9/24. Plans a January decision.

Looks like he plans on becoming the mythical creature we call "the silent commit" within the month.

"Banner revealed this week he is probably going to decide in the next month or two but is only going to tell the coach of the school he is committing to and then wait to make the announcement at Lakes High probably right before the Army All-American Game (which is on Jan. 7)."

If Michigan gets another OL commit before Banner announces, then I'd say it's safe to bet he isn't going there. They already have 5 OL in this class. Without any attrition, I don't think they could take on that many.

But if Hoke is trying to bring in linemen suited for a pro-style offense, he may get 6+.
