They are saying "health reasons" - probably a broken heart that he wasn't chosen to coach the Irish.

It will be interesting to see what happens - so much for his word to stay at Florida next year.

Depending on the severity of the health issues, you can't blame the guy. Let's say that it comes out that he has cancer, and has been given less than two years to live? With the money he has, would you blame him for wanting to spend that time with his family, as opposed to working 100 hours a week?

As much as we have a love/hate relationship with Urban, I really hope for him that he can regain his health and that everything works out for him.\

What was the health issue he developed at Notre Dame again? I think it was a blood/vein problem if I remember correctly...

I'm with you 100%. I think he is a great coach and a good guy who deserves the best. I was trying to highlight that things change day to day in people's worlds. People ususally say what they feel/believe/think at that moment. The world is fluid and so is reality. Just like the people who feel BK betrayed and lied to his players. In my reality he didn't; rather his world changed.

I hope nothing but the best to the Meyer's family - and maybe in 10 years when BK wins his 3rd NC and moves on, Urban will be better and take his dream job.

I agree 100% with you fellows that are relating to his health issues.
I LOVE Brian Kelly and would not change a thing .
But Urban Meyer we do not know what is wrong with him and it must be something serious so i shall indeed be in prayer for him and his family.
Notre Dame will return to Glory Amen thaks BK.

I love Urban Meyer as a coach, and wish him and his family all the best. Hopefully he kicks this thing, whatever it is.

And BGIF is right, Charlie Strong probably feels like an idiot right now.
