For some reason I'm really nervous for this game. A loss would be devastating.

this is THE event, a loss and ND football becomes a club sport, a win and ND is upper echelon.

UM 114 yds, 4.4 ypc Denard inflated those totals, I believe he had a 40 or 50 yard scramble
MSU 29 yds, 1.3 ypc
PU 84 yds, 3.1 ypc
AF 363 yds, 6.1 (in a 26 point ND win)They only really run the ball, except for the very infrequent pass, combined with garbage time yards They did have 202 yards passing granted, but from what I recall the defense would give up middle yards and stiffen towards the goal line.

Other than those two games, 3.0, 3.1, and 1.3 look ineffective to me.

For Michigan, Denard had 6.8 average, for a total of 108 yards. So aside from one of the best scrambling QBs of all time, Michigan had a .6 YPC.

I expect to see a lot of screens and quick throws from USC initially and then the long ball in panic mode.

They will probably do okay between the 20s but it's gonna get seriously difficult for them in the red zone.

Remembering what I was like when I was 17 and drunk.........I would say you will have no problem getting into the stadium. As long as you don't act like a 17 year old drunk. Act like a 51 year old drunk.

Well, outside of telling them you're 17 and drunk, just don't act like a drunk*** and you should be fine. Don't forget a good percentage of everyone going in will have been tailgating all day.

Yeah, they are going to move the ball. So long as we sustain drives to FG's instead of TD's we should be good. They have had problems finishing drives in the redzone.
