If anyone is going to commit at The Game, I think Odenigbo would be one of the more likely verbals. Does anyone else feel this way?

+1 I don't see anyone else really. Ifeadi may see how great it is to have fans unlike stanford and want to stay close to home. Byron wants to wait correct?

Odenigbo's commitment would be unreal, but I don't see it happening. I still think he's a moderate Stanford lean unfortunately.

Of course, I do love to be wrong sometimes.

Taking his OV to Stanford Nov 12 vs Oregon. Going to take all five visits.

UCLA also now in his top group, so make it a Top 6.

From an OSU site:

Odenigbo is still being recruited at a high level by Ohio State, though very little, if any, ground has been made up over the last few months. The Ohio State coaching staff would like to host Odenigbo on an official visit and getting him up to campus for a game and letting him hangout with close friend and former teammate Michael Bennett would give the Buckeyes a puncher's chance.

As most know by now, the things that appeal to most recruits do not necessarily factor in heavily in Odenigbo's decision. Academics are first in that household and football tradition and program prestige don't weigh quite as heavily. My stance, going all the way back to the summer, has been that Notre Dame would end up being a compromise school for Odenigbo in that he would get the academic prestige he was looking for but would also be a reasonable distance from home.

Stanford, Cal, Northwestern, and Ohio State are all still alive in this one, but I believe the Fighting Irish are the team to beat right now.

ND v OSU:

Academics - Check

Football Tradition - Check
(Rockne, Leahy, Parshegian, Devine, Holtz, Gipp, The Four Horsemen, All-Time Wins, National Championships, Undefeated Seasons, Heisman Winners, - Graduation Rate)

Program Prestige - Check
(ND fired a coach for misstating his qualifications; OSU LET a coach they fired for cheating "resign" so he would testify on their behalf with the NCAA)

Dont rip Flemming. Odenigbo has amazing upside but is so raw.

Odenigbo's a better, more natural athlete. Fleming is embarrassing in space. I think he's still being haunted by the ghost of Tate Forcier.
