hahahah what the hell was I thinking? I mean Nebraska doesn't even look remotely close to another university.

Named his top 4 of FSU, ND, Nebraska, Texas

Was checking out YahooSports this morning and they had a video segment on Recruit of the Week. It was this young man. And at the end they mentioned his 4 finalists and listed in no particular order: USC, Neb., Texas and FSU. Did not mention ND. So from Yahoo's perspective we were replaced by USC on his list? That sucks if true. This kid will be terrific.

^^Hope so. Was just surprised we were not mentioned. It was Mike Ferrall and some other guy. Was not Ferrell who said it tho, it was the other fellow. But this was this morning, so I thought something may have changed in the past 3 weeks.

A lot of USC fans are convinced they are getting him even though I haven't heard anything about USC ever come out of his mouth. I don't believe it for a second. They could definitely still get in the race, I just don't think they're a big threat at the moment.

Ok so I have seen this happen a lot but this is the most recent occurance so I will just bring it up here.

Is it not some kind of violation for someone to give a recruit their user name and password for a premium site so they can view the content, or sense the content they are viewingis about them it is somehow ok?

I dont think its against any rules. Its just a rivals account.

Thanks. I didn't know because it is a paid membership service. You know how stupid the NCAA rules are. I just cringe everytime I see them ask and people respond.

It's a definite gray area. You can easily attach a monetary value to it, since the pay sites charge a monthly fee, but all the recruit receives is information that he probably already knew or could have discovered elsewhere on the net for free.

I don't think it'd be a violation, but the NCAA is weird.

Back to Andrus IMo he goes to FSU. Might visit for the USC game. Stanford seemed to sneak in there.

I am talking when a recruit tweets asking his followers if he can borrow someones user name or password so they can read premium information.

Unless there's an NCAA de minimis exception I'm unaware of, this would be a gift from a booster. It's also a violation of the terms and conditions of the site User agreement, copyright infringment, and before Congress started acting this week the recruit would be commiting a felony. I am not kidding.
