Lots of competition starting with the homestate Hogs, the Sooners, the Trojans, the Tide, the Canes, etc

He camped at ARK, OU, and AUB.

He's got the size to play college ball now. And he has the grades and test score to do so at ND.

Dang. Big kid. Those bench, squat, and ht numbers are that of some of the best college OT, let alone a kid who hasnt played a snap of his high school senior season yet. Hope we go after this kid hard.

Offensive tackle Brey Cook (Springdale, Ark./Har-Ber) has a host of scholarship offers, but the 6-foot-6, 295-pounder has several programs that stand out to him at this time.
"(Recruiting) has been a long, fun ride," said Cook. "Oklahoma, Arkansas and Alabama are the three that are really standing out right now. Also, Auburn, Notre Dame, USC and Miami are big schools that would be good choices as well. I hope to make my decision by late spring, so I can have the summer of my senior year."

Brey Cook is accelerating his recruitment. The offensive tackle prospect from Springdale, Ark., plans to graduate in December so he would like to have a commitment made by the time his senior season rolls around. To that end he made a visit to Auburn last weekend and will hit Arkansas next. Notre Dame is one of the out-of-state programs he would like to see in the summer.

Kelly and the staff keep evaluating new players, and offers are going out all the time. We're not even sure who has offers yet...we find out sometimes like 2-3 weeks later that a kid was offered. So who knows who they'll go after next. Most people thought Brey was a longshot for us anyway, so it's not a huge loss. We've started off really well with the O-Line, and we have a long ways to go until NSD. A good year and you'll see players lining up to play for Kelly...

I agree. Considering we have two blue chip LT's, and a blue chip lineman that projects to be an interior lineman, that leaves us with only one more spot for a lineman. Do we go after another interior lineman or a RT?
