Wasn't it wooly, that during Mr. Lynch's recruitment, pointed out that even while committed to FSU, he still had on a ND shirt in his facebook pic? That turned out alright....

I'm not trying to say it's the same with Byron, but I think it's ridiculous to imply that it means "less than nothing"

People rep gear of teams they support. If we gave him some ND gear, he could just as easily packed in his suitcase and wore regular clothes to the airport

Was at Oregon's practice last night. Said their facilities were "unbelievable" and he and his dad spent a lot of time with Chip Kelly. Also really wants to get down to USC in the next two weeks.

Marshall went down and left the game with a shoulder injury in the first quarter. He had an MRI on Saturday but won't know how long he'll be out until later this week.

The USC game is going to be huge with recruits and if we win we'll add some new players to the Irish family. I'd like to have one of the Marshall's and Mahone.

if ND wins out heading into the USC game (as it very well should), this game could shape up to be one of the most important in recent years, maybe even going back to USC '05. The recruiting implications are HUGE because almost all of our biggest targets will be there, not to mention the momentum it can give us heading into the 2nd half of the season heading up to a potentially monstrous match-up vs. Stanford. Not to mention it's going to be a night game, the stadium will be rocking, and it'll be an incredible atmosphere. All of these added up are going to cause the days between now and October 22nd to creep pretty slowly.

Can't wait.
