Nothing special. No new news. Will be at the Gridiron Kings event in Florida on the 24th and 25th.

Still talks about playing with Jordan Payton (who doesn't seem serious about Notre Dame).

Says he may visit Georgia and Vandy when he comes to the east coast.

*I wonder if he commits to Georgia if Geno Smith will no longer be interested in the Bulldogs. Kid doesn't seem to like competition.

Greenberry and Shepard will be making the trip to Florida as well.

*Maybe Greenberry can jump a few more spots in the ESPN150. They've been all over this kid lately.

Says he'd like to make his decision before the season starts but says it could carry on until after his senior season.

All in all, not much information.

And to think everyone was salty at Greenberry and Shepard for not coming to ND......as you can see their expenses are well thought out. Vital vocal points of building relationships with other kids....When ND comes through on the field....We end recruiting hot...I like.

Scout says he almost made a commitment over the weekend but then he reconsidered.
Would it have been to Cal?

Scout.com: Adams Almost Makes the Call

Cal and UCLA are his top 2. Hope he chooses UCLA if it comes down to that (I come from a UCLA family, so they are my far-distant 2nd love). Smart if him to hold off, as that could have lead to a decommitment b/c he is not sure and wants to visit a lot of other schools. He mentioned a lot of other schools, including East Carolina - but never mentioned ND. So either we stopped recruiting him, he has no interest in us, or he forgot to mention us but took the time to mention ECU. With all the DBs in our crosshairs, it's not hard to jump to the conclusion that we passed (but it could be that he's no interested in ND - happens all the time), but regardless, it's pretty clear that he won't be Irish...

Ishmael Adams was set to announce his decision during the event with Cal being the school of choice but decided to hold off. UCLA was potential school of choice a few weeks ago. Once Cal offered, Adams had a new leader. He and Bryce Treggs are making Shaq Thompsona priority

Bery, can't post premium articles here man. This site already got into trouble once. Just give a summary of what it said. Don't copy and paste. Just a heads up!

I changed it up. Thanks.

But I did post the link - said it was premium - gave credit to the writer - and only posted an insert out of the entire article
To my understanding I covered all my bases to post it. Nonetheless, I still changed it up for safety.

Yeah, you can't post anything verbatim, even little snippets, unless it is in the headline or the byline or something that everyone can see. Just paraphrase and you're fine. Can you change them all? I can't tell what is quoted and what is paraphrased. If not, I have to delete them all so the site doesn't get busted. Thanks!

hmmmm....that event could result in freezing a lot of other possible recruits out unless they pop beforehand. Look for instance at the guys who are already committed who will be there --- some of best "unofficial" recruiters. What if Harrell [and the speed merchants] get Banner and Stanley to verbal?? Bye bye Andrus Peat etc?? What if KRussell says yes, and KMarshall says "really interested"?? Bye, bye William Mahone??

What a pressure cooker....

And vis-a-vis whether we win or lose: made no difference to the Atkinsons as to the game they went to.

I understand and completely agree with this. It's like waiting in line for a movie and when you walk up to buy your ticket they are sold out. It's going to be very interesting as the months go by as to see who will get their ticket and who will be left at the curb.

I would compare it to an amusement park. They will be able to watch the rollercoaster (ie ND spanking USC) and then know that they want to be part of it. They will want to ride this rollercoaster. So they will get in line, filled with the excitement of their future experience. Only problem is... when they get to the front of the line, they are too short to get on.

So will have to watch all of their friends ride the exciting rollercoast which is ND and only getting the experience of watching what could have been.

Only problem with your guys' metaphors/similes would be that there is no line in recruiting.

They'll be fighting over the spots.

It's more like the race from your classroom on Tenderloin Thursday, a dead sprint to be front of the line. On occasion though there is that SOB who was in the computer lab in the lunchroom though, and they are just walking out of the lunch line, tray in hand, smiling at you as you come in.

Yea, it will be a bit more like that...whoever gets the word to Kelly first.

I like to think of it more as the seats on the roller coaster, more so than the line they are looking at.
