Both articles say the exact same thing. The reporters talked to his head coach, who told the reporters the same thing, that Wilson likes all 3 schools in his top 3 (PSU, ND, Mich). He likes the smaller classroom sizes of ND and the tradition, etc etc. But he liked a lot of things about his other 2 finalists as well. The coach has no idea who leads for him, and that the decision should come soon, at the very least before the beginning of the season.

I like the fact that he is staying quiet and not tweeting ridiculous thoughts or flirting with fan bases. It shows a level of maturity some recruits have lacked this off-season.

They are. He was always going to announce earlier on. IMO it is an ND v. Michigan battle. I'd have to say Michigan if pressed right now, but we definately helped our chances on the visit.

Typically if a recruit sets up a decision right after a visit it bodes well for that school. But I agree that Michigan will be a tough one to edge out.

Looks like Brady Hoke and Brian Kelly may be dueling it out for Midwest recruits for several years....

one thing that is definitely in michigan's favor is that former rb ron powers is his head coach at buchtel and it wouldn't surprise me to see him pushing for him to go to michigan.

He said that Powers has coached other DI talent that have had UM offers, but went elsewhere. Akron Buchtel isn't exactly a Michigan pipeline and although Powers was a Michigan standout, that does not mean that relfects to his players.

He told me that he thought he would end up at Notre Dame.

It's early yet, there will be lots of movement in the National Rankings. Last year on Rivals Eilar Hardy was the #15 S and #216 on their Final Top 250. In '11, 17 Safeties made their Final 250. This year Ronald Geohaghan is the #11 S and at #216 is the last Safety to make the 250. Wilson's probably just outside the 250.

We're not getting him. HS coach is Michigan and that will have an influence regardless of what peeps say. Also people think Mattison can coach even though the dude is an under-performing hack.

I'm holding out hope for Shumate, Geno and/or Yuri because Yuri, Tee and Shumate all have the ability to play safety.
