NCAA Rules stipulate that a number atleast 8" high must be on the front and back of the jersey. Expect changes, or even an outright different uniform.

First, tOSU's troubles took the nation's attention away from the recruiting service scandal that was taking on a life of it's own, in relation to Oregon.

Now, if Michigan shows up in these uniforms, many people will forget all about Oregon's incredibly ugly uniform combinations.

This might be considered blasphemy, but I'd love to see us switch to Kelly green uniforms full time a la Leahy, Brennan, and Devine; mainly because it's a unique color combination, and it's extra awesome for the Fighting Irish to wear Kelly green.

How many Division I schools use green and gold as their colors? None that I can think of. Now how many schools wear blue and gold, or something similar? A ton.

Why our basketball team has a black uniform and not a green one boggles my mind.

I hate scUM. You would too if you lived here at the Indiana / Michigan stateline where I do. It is a year round battle with scUM fans. You wont see the true scUM fans out there in Utah, if any at all. It's a whole different world over here.

Everyone I know who is a scUM fans is praying that this jersey is just the "first draft" so to say. And that their jerseys will be similiar, but that isnt the final jersey. It's an awful lot of fun for me to watch this.

fair nough...I'm still finding it hard many years removed from my time in PA, to have something nice to say about Penn State...

A. I'm down for a full switch to green too.

B. Baylor, South Florida (kinda), UAB, and Colorado State all use green and gold. But you're right there's about three or four times that wear blue and gold or something very similar to Notre Dame.

3. Concur on the basketball team wearing black. Dumb.

Looks like Michigan (and Notre Dame) will be unveiling their throwbacks tomorrow night at 8 PM.

Michigan is doing a private one inside the Big House that will be streamed live on their website.

I wish Notre Dame would do the same, but haven't heard any news about what we plan on doing.
