There will never be turf at notre dame stadium....tradition trumps all....they will just keep it short now that THEY have the speed now so they won't need to to play that game anymore to "slow the opponent down" to their advantage.

Never say never... I think its a long ways away, but I could definitely see it down the road. The turf has just not been in good condition for a long time.

I dont know I feel like turf just speeds everyone up a little more.. not just the fast guys. A kid like darby is gonna have a speed advantage on any surface. BK can still keep a fast pace offense on short grass.

There will have to be a new rule instated that ND must always return kicks going towards the North endzone with the gates to the tunnel opened. Once Darby starts running he will not be able to stop until he gets to Hesburgh.

I have talked to Ronald several times since I interviewed him and I cannot get over a) his knowledge of Notre Dame history and b) his desire to know more about Notre Dame history. There is an excitement with his when he discusses the fans and traditions. I really fell that he is hyped to be a part of it. That enthusiasm is contagious to other recruits.

Man I am so happy about getting this kid! Speed, Speed and more speed! Congrats for being the 200m National Champ. Now help us win a National Championship with some of that speed. lol! Love this kid's attitude and desire to be a part of the rich history and tradition of Notre Dame football!

I have heard people question if he would end up faxing in his LOI on NSD, but when I hear stuff like this, it makes me super confident that he is solid Irish. When a kid truly understands what he is becoming part of, they don't turn their back on a chance to become part of Irish lore.

Cant wait to see this kid in Blue and Gold.

We'll have a pretty solid answer well before signing day. I believe he is planning on early enrollment. I too can't wait to see him in the ND Uniform.
