Senior Year highlights. Never truly realized how fast and explosive he was until this video. I now understand why Coach D thinks he is a 5 star player:

Almost every run is at least 40-50 yds. "Can't wait!" (Bart Scott voice)

Good Lord Almighty, there never seemed to be any angle-of-pursuit able to get to a spot before he did. I believe that it was Lou Holtz who said that Rocket Ismail had the greatest "effective speed" with the ball he'd seen anywhere. GAIII has "effective speed" ---nobody ran with him on ANY play. "Put him in, Coach; he's ready to play today...."

One of the more impressive videos I've seen in awhile. I don't care if he ends up as a WR or RB, he is going to be a monster. Finally some fireworks in special teams. He has great size to be as fast as he is. His brother is just as fast as he is on the other side of the ball. The Atkinsons were a true steal out of the state of California.

He looks like a man, like a college player playing against high school kids.

Based on that video, it appears that he scored 8,456 TD's last year. Seriously, it seems like every time he touched the ball he scored

^^^^^^^this to what all of you said!

One question...anyone know what division (or the general competition level) the Atkinsons played in high school.

Fast, decisive (probably spelled wrong), runs extremely well north and south, not alot of wasted motion. Looks great. Can't wait.

BK has got to be really dwelling on putting GA III in the backfield. 6'2'' is about as tall as I like to see a RB but if Luongo puts some bulk on him I think he's got the skill for sure. Think about it, if Wood or Gray go down for an extended period of time the RB position is in serious trouble.

I expect GAIII to play as a special teamer this year or redshirt. If I had to guess I think Theo ends up returning punts this year with GAIII and Bennett Jackson returning kickoffs.

GAIII was recruited primarily as a slot receiver, right? Or am I mistaken there? With Theo Riddick entrenched there for two more years + Toma I would expect him to immediately get reps at RB with our severe lack of depth. Whether that sticks long term or not I do not know. I don't really expect DaVaris or George to be able to crack the WR rotation this year, but I could certainly see either or both of them being starters in 2012 if things go right.

I think GAIII will need to spend this year at RB by default. Maybe he'll move out like Theo his soph year if ND gets some depth built up this year at RB.

Keep in mind Cam McDaniel is coming in at the same time as GAIII.

So maybe GAIII will go receiver... Idk, should be interesting
