I hope we dont' lose him. Not only his talent, but I think the kid is a good kid too. We need to keep him to keep this future dominant team intact.

Go Irish, and I hope you stay with us Mr. Tuitt!

Mr. TUITT you are already on the train to a quality education, great future and a national championship why would you wanna jump off???

Follow your heart and do not let your "boys" influence you in any way.. They doing it for there own selfish reasons.

Think of your future young man.

Good luck and may you stay IRISH!!!!!!!!!!!

i think he's just going with the idea of seeing his friend off well at gt. don't think after all the good news with the program he would leave a forsure bcs championship team in the works... floyd back riddick, christ, tommy, wood, tyler, manti, this will be the start of the rise.. 4 to 3 yrs with the new recruits god this looks great.

Free trip, free food....

I'd take advantage of my visits if I were him.

He's Irish, just having a good time.

I think this is more than just a good time.

He said he's giving them a chance so I think he'll listen. He's been pretty mature about this so I hope he will take his time and not get too caught up in the emotion of the moment. I think he will. We knew that his buddy would be in his ear so we shouldn't be surprised.

Hopefully he'll go home, let the excitement die a little and stay committed. We'll see.

If TUIIT flakes out we have a pretty darn good DE from Hawaii who is not comitted yet.

His name is Juda PARKER. He is 6-2 240 DE from St. Louis School. He played in the Army all american game.

He was the Hawaii defensive player of the year.

He decomitted from the Vols.

If Parker is willing to play OLB, I want him regardless of Tuitt's decision (he is all Irish, btw).

He could play OLB. Really kinda messed up what Tennesse did to him. They actually asked him to decommit so they could sign another recruit. Talk about integrity of a program..... Juda was also pissed that a "Recruiting Guru" blasted Juda sayin he does not have enough stars to play for the Vols..

Juda is a good kid. Humble, hard worker, very athletic.

Any news on Tuitt's visit?

I think Tuitt's sticking with ND.

A recent quote from an Atlanta blog:

"Smith is the Monroe Area High School teammate of four-star defensive end Stephon Tuitt. Tuitt is currently committed to Notre Dame but decided to visit Tech this weekend after his basketball game was canceled.

Tuitt could not immediately reached for comment.

“I don’t know what he’s going to do,” Smith said. “I didn’t get any kind of answer from him. As soon as I saw him I started teasing him and saying, ‘you gonna come with me?’ I know he’s feeling pressure both ways.”

He's an 18 year old Georgia boy that will be in downtown ATL on an all expense paid weekend as a prime time football recruit, with one of his buddies. I think he's all Irish but that kind of weekend is really hard to pass up!

Great point.

Take it FWIW obviously, but I have a friend that goes to GT and he's hearing rumors that Tuitt was rather disinterested during his visit. Don't know where it started or how it started, but it's what he heard. Also says that people aren't very confident he'll switch. Like I said take it FWIW

I hope his reaction is that of the girl in your avatar to the large animal in her window

I look very much forward to solid news he's still all about ND. I hope we just now sow up the seams on this class and look forward to the spring game.

Any other "gets" will make me no more satisfied than I am already. That being said, I'll comment positively in favor of added breadth, but I'm so proud of what our Irish staff have accomplished. Now let's bring'em home...

Keeping this class together is all I'm concerned with at this point as well. Im not worried about where we finish in Scout, ESPN, Rivals, etc. I just want this class in tact and ready to take charge starting this summer.

Totally agree. Priority #1 is keeping Tuitt, Lynch and Ishaq in this class. People outside of ND may not understand how important these three guys are for us. The pundits could rate our class behind The Children of The Poor as far as i'm concerned. As long as I get to see these three guys knock Denard's shoes off his feet for the next couple years, I will be a happy camper.

Lynch and Williams are on campus so I feel good about that. Im worried about Tuitt, Rabasa, and the Atkinson brothers at this point. Miami will charge hard for Rabasa and we just picked up Ishaq. Until the Atkinson brothers sign, I will be worried.
