Basically they went into every sport and came out with a top 10 list of the most thrilling players of all time. Note that its THRILLING, not the greatest. Here are college footballs "Most Thrilling" :

10. Lawrence Taylor, North Carolina

9. Doc Blanchard and Glenn Davis, Army

8. Reggie Bush, USC

7. Red Grange, Illinois

6. Doug Flutie, Boston College

5. Tim Tebow, Florida

4. Herschel Walker, Georgia

3. Dick Butkus, Illinois

2. Earl Campbell, Texas

1. Vince Young, Texas

Obviously this will warrant some discussion... Lets start with the obvious.. Where in the hell is the Rocket?

I'm all for great, vicious linebacker play, but linebacker play is not thrilling in the sense they mean. Even when practiced by the likes of Taylor, Butkus or Urlacher.

Most QB play isn't thrilling, either. Tebow's certainly isn't.

Thrilling, to me, is a player like Reggie Bush, Rocket, or Golden Tate. Devin Hester in the NFL is a great example. It's a guy who can house it, or make a spectacular play, on any given play. Tebow will win you games and get his numbers, but he's not going to run for a 90 yard TD or something.

Tebow is a great leader and all, but a powerful running qb doesn't make me think, THRILLING. What a joke of a list.

No Bo, no Rocket, no Barry, and you're all right, it's a joke. And Tebow IS NOT THRILLING!!! I hate to say it, but the most thrilling player I'ver ever seen live is Reggie Bush. He should be right there with Vince Young. That kid scared the crap out of me EVERY TIME he touched the ball, hell, every time he stepped on the field, just like Rocket. Now those two are some thrilling players.

Tebow is the ESPN poster boy. If he picked a dingleberry out of his ass, ESPN would be all over it, saying it was a couragous act of a selfless leader.

LaVarr Arrington was one of my favorite players to watch b/c he made crazy plays. Andy Katzenmoyer was the same way the next year.

Again, I dunno. On D I think the closest you can come to a thrilling player is a huge hitter like Steve Atwater.

Based on players i have ACTUALLY seen in my lifetime
1) Michael Vick: Everytime he touched the ball i was in awe
2) Reggie Bush: The Fresno State game
3) Vince Young: Watching him against Oklahoma St and then tear up USC.

Honerable Mention: Golden Tate, not quite there yet but he has the same gambreaking ability

Are we talking just college? Because the Michael Vick I'll remember isn't the blazer, or the dog-drowner - it's the guy who in '05 came to Soldier Field in -9 weather and couldn't move his team an inch. Just didn't want to be there.

Of course in college and occasionally in the pros, he was thrilling.

THRILLING, not greatest. As much as I hate to do it, Charles Woodson & Desmond Howard might be included as well. But I would take the Rocket over them.

It was a rhetorical question. I'm being as nice about this couple of posts as I can be, mostly because I think you might be autistic.

Wabash gets banned, and tanner, a brand new poster gets away with calling BGIF, arguably the best poster here, autistic? What am I missing here? Tanner, it said in the first post that it was about college players, and then you asked if it was about college players. So he answered. Didn't look to me like it was a rhetorical question either. BGIF knows more about ND football than both you and I combined. Relax...

I thought C Woodson was the most thrilling and play making defensive player I've seen in college football...in person.

Ricky Williams was awesome in college too. Also, in college Tamarick Vanover was super exciting. (even tho my disdain for Free Shoes U)
