Sounds like our committed players expect a verbal out of this weekend. Thats what i have been reading

Update from Jarret Grace on Facebook:

Jarrett Rkg Grace:
"so yesterday....pretty much one of the best days ever, hanging with the justice league and my other brothers. despite the loss i think we will have a few more RKGs soon."

That's what Grace was saying too...

If so, I wonder who he is referring to.

As of right now all spots are pretty much wait for the best option.

Lyons will likely get the full court press
Daniels is just wait for his scores

That leaves
Huggins
IShaq
Tuitt
French
Richardson

and maybe
Scarlett/Niklas

Not a bad spot to be in

The Atkinson brothers were in my previous top 5 so I have to update. No complaints!
1. Christian French- Christian remains my number one just based on pure athletic ability.
2. Wayne Lyons- Best remaining safety that has interest. Would sure up a big weakness for our future.
3. Stephon Tuitt- Would be a huge addition to our defensive line.
4. Davaris Daniels- One solid reciever in case Floyd takes off and because Kamara is gone.
5. Savon Huggins- Very dynamic back with tons of talent.
Outside the top 5 but solid recruits:
Ray Drew
Miles Shuler
Denzel Perryman
Quincy Aldridge
Ishaq Williams
Antonio Richardson

Any word on Davaris' ACT scores? The 11th was the day he would get them back was how I understood it. Now naturally I don't expect him to commit yesterday, just looking for some information.

He was going to take the test on the 11th, dates were mixed up and now he is retaking it in Oct.

Atkinsons, huge...hopefully we have our TJ Jones for next year and another CB to allow Hardy to play safety.

I know Lyons has a top 7, but I would consider it to be Florida, ND, Stanford, Miami, Nebraska...so far the news out of the weekend is his mom favors ND, he has been with the Atkinsons the entire time, and he is really enjoying the visit...we shall see.

Tuitt - between us and G tech (lost to Kansas who lost to North Dakota St - so just chill about Michigan game)

French - Iowa/us

Daniels - test score/us

Huggins - top 5

Niklas - Stanford/us

IShaq - Bama/Penn St/us

Now we will not get all these guys (their choice...not ours with a scholly crunch), but we could impress and take 4ish. I would be surprised if anyone made a move before Daniels. 5 of these guys need to get on campus with an OV before they make news....winning games is without a doubt our best recruiter now.

When Wayne Lyons sees all the press...I can imagine those four recruits this weekend spent a lot of time together and had plenty of conversations about the future. The other three have committed.

The roof will blow off if he makes it 4 for 4

I'd personally have to say I think it will be Daniels after he gets back his ACT scores. I love how hard the kid is working to get in.

On a secondary note, with this recruiting class, I'd love to see BK use this as motivation to keep MF and KR on campus for another year to make a run at something special.

I am starting to find it really hard to keep excitement in check. Even after the loss last week, BK gets these recruits to comit. I am so excited to see the great things to come with BK leading the way!!

This class is special in a much different way. We have had special classes in the past, but we have had bits and Pieces, now we are getting RKGs at much needed positions... paging Mr. Lyons....Paging Mr. Lyons...your gold helmet is ready.

The alleged experts on recruiting also very much like what Staff Kelly is doing. Scout ranks us #5 in the nation. Rivals ranks us #6. ESPN is slow to react, but had us as #9 BEFORE the Atkinsons and Stephon Tuitt made their decisions. From dead reckoning by me, it seems that even ESPN will be forced to bump us up to #5 or #6. We're all smart enough to know that such spectacular ratings aren't necessarily a given to produce championship performance on the field. But we have a Coach who is a proven genius at "coaching up" players to their potentials. Starting from this elite base talent level represented by players like Koyack, Hegarty, Tuitt, Hayes, the Atkinsons, Aaron Lynch and on and on [forgive me, unnamed young supermen, but listing everyone will take the whole page], Kelly & Company will do astonishing things that all of us will be driven crazy waiting for that day to come.
