I was there and yeah… it was the coldest I’d personally ever been… they walked out the tunnel and you could see the body language from the the stands, ‘fuck this’ basically covers it
Smh not all ND fans are made for real football weather

In American football, special coverage (also commonly called Stubbie or Special/Mini) is a specific defensive check used to defend against a 3x1 receiver formation (three receivers on one side of the field and one on the other)

Their starting RG, Max Buchana, just had surgery on his knee after getting injured against Clemson.

Wouldn't expect him to be back against ND.

Was just about to post this their OL is in a world of hurt hopefully Ash is all over their ass with blitz ect. Gotta make their QB get the ball out fast. Thier backup RG is Cantwell whose not even close to ready and has looked awful this year. No bend at all.

Don’t feel sorry for them one bit. We have been fucked by the injury bug and we might even have a natty in 2024 if we were healthy.
They had smooth sailing last season. Chances of repeating that is slim to none. They also have more cross country travel this season which is spaced out pretty good so not saying it’ll affect their rest/sleep patterns but again…last year was a cakewalk for them and they still lost to two inferior opponents.

I like that they’re @UNC week before ours. Enjoy the back to back travel fruitcakes.

Wasn’t sure where to put this, so I’ll put it here.
This popped up on Facebook memories. 14 years ago, ND vs Miami at Soldier field. I was given front row seats. Alex Flanagan was stationed right in front of us. The camera man kept telling me that she wasn’t interested. Apparently I tried to get her number. I don’t remember because my body weight was 15% alcohol at that point.

Don't give up, keep livin' the dream for the rest of us, wear her down
We were on the Miami side. They were miserable. The wind chill was low 30s.

I loved the "we don't want to be here" look on them at the 2010 Sun Bowl

I love all the dumbass Miami fans that keep talking like they're going to run all over us in this game.
For one, we don't get destroyed by anyone anymore, much less an ACC team.
Two, they won by all of 3 points last year at home while we were fielding a new DC and a freshman QB getting his first start. We were a much better team if we played them again in the playoff later.
Finally, Miami historically plays like shit outside of Florida against us. In 27 total games they've beaten us just 1 time outside of their state, and it was an early October game in '84 against an awful Irish team. They better pray it's unseasonably warm in November.

the Barkate TD was unfathomable levels of bad by Clemson

60 yard WR screen untouched to the house

Yeah so was the wide open Michigan State WR in the endzone who dropped the TD pass, our defense has had a few mental mistakes against lesser opponents. Our DB's didn't look good against UNC. Shuler especially.

I give them a break on that one - to me Shuler came down hard after the lineman came down field. Them picking up the lineman down field flag was hilarious.

Bowen worked off a block 5 yards down field and the other lineman was 7+ yards downfield.1791476173364.png

Curious how we play them. I'd almost put McKinney on Toney and let Moore take the other side of the field.

I think this is the way. IDK his name but white boy is also a problem our there, Let Moore stat line him for 0-0-0, and bracket Toney. DJ McKinney is a very capable corner.
