CJ has always looked the best at football in shorts. Not complaining as ND hasn't had a quarterback like that in a long time, just think that this outcome is actually expected if anything.

Had to be a weird event for Minchey to be at somewhat

Surprised he got invited tbh, usually for guys with at least a year starting

^^ This play last year, especially so early on, is one that has stood out to me about what we've got under center. It's one of two things.....1) Pauling is the primary receiver but Carr holds the boundary safety on the boundary by looking Gilbert's way, or 2) he goes through his progressions and finds Pauling wide open down the middle. Either way it was so nice to finally see some legit thought process going on at this position, but seeing him holding that safety, opening the middle for Pauling, and then squaring up, setting his feet and spinning it was just too sexy for a guy in his fourth career start

Dale: are you saying that the Carr/Manning picture is a fake manipulation?
I've seen some very good things, so ....

Wow! Quite effusive. Much of the stuff we already thought about CJ, but cool that others think it also.

Two things that I think are underrated that might be huge benefits this season for us...

1.) The space between CJ's ears.
2.) Partridge taking over the DL.

I think these aren't being talked about as much. Excited and hopeful for the season.

One thing I am a touch worried about. The DB's taking a small step back. No shot at Henry, but Mickens is Mickens. Hope I am wrong.
