Ben Koyack turned out to be a helluva good player. The "potential" thing was just IE goofiness turning into a meme joke, which did not ultimately apply to reality. We've had guys to whom it COULD apply (ex. Filer, maybe even Buchner) but Koyack was a real asset.

Great kid and great family. From Oil City, PA where I currently reside. Still run into his mom a lot as we work in the same field (caring for individuals diagnosed with developmental or cognitive disabilities).
Kid had/ has talent and the family loves the University of Notre Dame.

Genuinely not trying to be an ass but are these his grandparents, did his parents have him late in life, or is this an adoption situation? They look healthy but considerably older than other parent pics.

He's got mom's smile so he was probably an unplanned blessing!

I have two of those, LOL!

ummm.... I'm not too sure about that. I'd think that if the draft-able grader was doing an honest professional job, he'd be grading the number of players that he really thought WERE draft-able given the numbers of actual draft positions (plus a small excess.) (i.e. he'd think that these guys WOULD likely BE drafted.) That sounds pretty unambiguously upbeat.

in pre NIL era there were 130 underclassmen in draft, as opposed to 82 this year. So the talent pool in each class isnt as deep as thus its easier to be drafted and be deemed draftable

That older players are also getting drafted shouldn’t diminish the quality of the overall draft, right?

Sure. In a past era, some junior who projects as a fourth round pick goes to the draft, gets selected, and bumps this years sixth/seventh round pick out to be UDFAs. Instead, now, they make more money playing another year in college. So they stay in school and Rubio gets drafted.
Of course, in the era before that, most guys just played four years in college anyway.
So how does now compare to, say, 15 years ago?
None of this is an exact science.

This is NFL propaganda. If you are a junior and get a Day 2/3 grade, you leave and you fall to the 6th. Or now you return to college and you get the same grade and you get taken in the 7th. Guess what? That player didn’t get less talented, the allure of projection just wore off. NDs roster isn’t loaded with 5th years so scoffing at we have the ability to set the NFL Draft record was lame. Rubio is also a 6’5 320 former four star, ND IDL that has good tape when healthy. He would never get drafted, also lame. Someone like Gabe Rubio could have been convinced by an agent a year earlier he’s a 4th round pick only to fall to that same 6th round pre-NIL.

Currently on campus, with my brand new crutches. I’m not sure which recruit this lady is the mother of, but I will help contribute to his NIL to make sure mom comes back for another visit. Good Lord.
Would it be weird of you introduced yourself as Grangerirish24 from IrishEnvy and then proceeded to grab her Iphone and start scrolling through her photos looking for pics from her most recent beach vacation?

I'm currently trying to over exaggerate my need for my crutches to gain sympathy.
