He’s won the Heisman, a natty, and is likely the first pick in the draft. If the Raiders intend to draft him, he probably has Brady in his ear selling the long-term vision in Vegas and $50M million waiting for him.
I don’t get the sense this kid is driven by money the way many players in his position are, but that’s still a hard opportunity to turn down. What makes the decision even tougher is there is really nowhere to go but down and next year’s quarterback class could be loaded - Carr, Sayin, Moore, Manning, Maiava, Leavitt, Mensah, Sellers, Lagway. Several of those guys have better physical tools, and the NFL consistently prioritizes traits and upside over intangibles.
