I know they said he wasn't going back to the QB room, but is he not effectively a QB? His primary role seems to be calling in plays from the sideline, which is typically a QB job, not something they have WRs do. And to the extent he has gotten on the field it has been as someone who throws/runs the ball, not catches it.
Either way, yes, especially if we lose one of Angeli/Minchey, having him available as a quarterback seems like a good move. He'll have far more game experience than any other QB on the roster next year, and if Denbrock wants QBs who can run, that's Buchner.
