I guess I'm saying your point is moot, IMO, and arrowryan's point may hold water. He's not singularly looking at top dollar and won't be in the future if someone else offers him $50k more next year. But if he likes ND otherwise, I hope we're not going to lose out due to lack of $ against Texas Tech.

But who knows. We never know how these things exactly go down and never will.
