Blanchard is not leaving TT. Nice weather has full control and makes a lot of cash.
Actually, Dale, the problem appears to be that he’s a “maybe”Correct. He’s a yes or no
Would go down as a top 5 troll job in my life...and would warrant an applause in my book.Would be pretty hilarious if Merck’s first “take” that Blanchard was in the bag ended up being wrong.
Because theyre fucking awesomeWhy are the home jersey pants mustard yellow instead of gold?
Driskell - Universally disliked
Singer - Largely considered weird, but harmless
I won’t name him, but there is someone who’s no longer trusted, and is being actively locked out of information.
The Tims are well liked, as is Sampson, Frank, and Horka.
If this is the case we should be pissed, so we are gonna settle for someone who isn't good because we are being cheap?Mike Frank has heard ND isnt offering as much as Texas Tech.
Merck, if you have another Q/A in you, can you share anything about Onye, specifically if he's expected to stay or not?
He's already talked about Onye in previous posts.Mike Frank has heard ND isnt offering as much as Texas Tech.

Who knows. It would be silly if we offered less than his current salary. I’ll assume we offered him a large raise and Tech came back and offered more to keep him.If this is the case we should be pissed, so we are gonna settle for someone who isn't good because we are being cheap?
I guarantee you we are not being cheap here. ND has shown the past few years that they will be willing to pay top dollar for gold coordinators and assistants, so likely willing to do the same for a proven GM. We pretty much had this one in the bag, after it was said he loves being at Texas tech, was hesitant about uprooting his family and prefers staying in Texas. That shows me he was offered substantially more than what he was being paid. If anything TT ponied up because this is a guy they really want to keep.If this is the case we should be pissed, so we are gonna settle for someone who isn't good because we are being cheap?
I see critical thinking isn't one of your strong suits. You ever think that maybe he got an attractive offer from ND, but TT countered? No disruption to the family (moving, schools, etc.).If this is the case we should be pissed, so we are gonna settle for someone who isn't good because we are being cheap?
Yes this would make zero sense. First of all he is from Texas so he pays less in taxes, your gonna spend all this money to interview the guy then offer him less money?Who knows. It would be silly if we offered less than his current salary. I’ll assume we offered him a large raise and Tech came back and offered more to keep him.
Yeah I'm not dumb then why didn't ND reup their offer.I see critical thinking isn't one of your strong suits. You ever think that maybe he got an attractive offer from ND, but TT countered? No disruption to the family (moving, schools, etc.).
Maybe they did. A lot of "hear is what I heard" is going on.Yeah I'm not dumb then why didn't ND reup their offer.

Also, Tech might have presented him an offer way above what the market is. You don't want to get into those bidding wars.
I would assume horka since he leaked the Leonard injury in spring or summer.Matt Freeman is still dishing out the goods when it comes to recruiting reporting, and Jamie U is just an analyst. If he had any contact with the staff, it would be minimal - at best. Goolsby is pretty much the same, and even less likely to have contacts within the program. Alumni, now that's another story. Ex-players talk amongst themselves and may hear things through the grapevine.
It's got to be Loy.

On the pod from last night, he teased a BK story he is going to share.Didn’t Horka also leak the BK last meeting?
He’s been that way, kid loves the thrill of going viral
