It’s almost unanimously OSU by the so called experts. If OSU is seeing this they may come in over confident. If our lads are seeing this it has to provide motivation. Keep the game close and OSU will start feeling the pressure.

ND vs OSU OL by recruiting ranking:

#61 - #149 - #613 - #60 - #123

#19 - #302 - #188 - #36 - #502

Call QB, RB, and TE basically a wash too in pedigree. Obviously WR goes to OSU.

Not sure where the perception comes from ND has no one who would start at OSU. Leonard, Love, Evans, and likely multiple OL could.

I’m a LSU fan and I’m nervous. 😅 I just hope they come out loose, but focused and confident. I want them to play freely where they aren’t devastated about making a mistake. When a mistake happens, and they will, forget it and make up for it on the next play. If Notre Dame does than and plays fast, hard and physical, they’ll win.

I really believe Ohio State won’t respond well if Notre Dame really pops them in the mouth early … a huge hit and fumble or INT on Howard, decleating one of their receivers, a nice crack back block on Sawyer which results in a huge run by Love, Leonard…

Ohio State is a head case…a talented head case, but a head cade nonetheless…they sure don’t respond well to physicality and adversity….

Are your initials CG? Because I know an LSU fan who is also very into ND

Also I thought the fan store at the convention center was pretty weak… the signed Jerseys were really cool though, good to see Faison, X and others get to make some dough (though having signed Rudy jerseys is dumb lol). But most of the stuff seemed pretty meh quality and not that great of design, especially for the price. Will be dropping bags for merch if we win though

This sort of mentality is why ND is going to win this game. Because when OSU is NOT putting on the show they expect, they will wilt.
Yeah, drag them into deep water, teams take on the personality of their coach. Day is a headcase. If they expect a "show," then they'll start to get frustrated and overthink things if that doesn't materialize. OSU feeds on starting fast, we have to contain that best we can and survive.

It was unbelievable/impossible that we’d beat Cathedral my 2 years RHS. I played with a bunch of those cunts in Warren township.

3-0 against those hoes on the gridiron. Also 4 of 5 on the diamond with 4 bombs.

Just snap/throw the ball. Nobody in Freeman’s camp gives a fuck what talking heads say.

Interesting - makes you think we’re a little concerned with future scheduling with expanded conference schedules.

Personally would like us to start one with Penn State if we were to play this game. The two biggest brands in the NE US and some great battles in the 80s.

I’d be concerned. If the rumored SEC/B1G Challenge ever came to pass, we would have a hard time scheduling opponents from either conference. Even USC might well drop us if they’re committed to nine Big 10 games and an SEC game every year.

Tik Tok has this trend where people post a picture of their old father/adult them in ND gear that says “Who will be watching the game”

It then goes to a picture of their father when he was young and them as a kid in their ND gear that says “Who will REALLY be watching the game.”

Solid kick straight to the feels.

Let’s do this.

Nope. RM. Mid 40s, from NOLA now in Houston.

Despite all the recent back and forth banter between the two, you’d be surprised at the amount of LSU / Louisiana folks that like Notre Dame….

We need to play annual games with USC, Michigan, Michigan State, Pitt. Frequent games against BC, Purdue, Miami. These are big games against rival schools. Add in a game each year against an SEC or Big 12 team.

Regularly playing games against Virginia, Wake Forest, NC State is not interesting and does not serve the football program in any way. I continue to be frustrated by the ACC agreement 11 years into it.

ND has been to the CFP 3 times in those 11 years. I would say some benefit has to be there

That headline is clickbait bullshit or the ppl at Bleacher Report and Irish Tribune are fucking illiterate.

The actual quote:

"When we play a team like Clemson, I think that has become such a great rivalry in such a short amount of time," he said. "I would tell you that's the type of game I'd love to play every year"

Not "play Clemson every year."

Play a Clemson type of game every year.

I would love if ND would have a couple of permanent rivalry games as a part of the ACC scheduling agreement. Assuming a top program, a mid range program and a bottom feeder My ideal 3 would be 1. Miami, 2. Pitt 3. BC

Who’s really watching this game?

-Cut to a clip of me hurling my remote at the wall and launching my coffee table across the living room after the Bush Push.

I’ve been watching them for over three decades, and over time, I’ve stopped caring about the wins and losses.

I have enjoyed watching and following this team more than any other by a wide margin. They play with heart, grit, balls and an undeniable will to win that’s truly special - even their opponents and their fan bases recognize it.

The outcome of the game won’t change any of that, but I truly hope these guys are rewarded with a win for the way they’ve played this year. They’ve earned it.

I just want to know one time how it feels for your favorite team—the team you’ve lived and died with for your entire life—to be the champions. I was too young in ‘88 and even though the White Sox won in ‘05, my passion for ND eclipses my love for the Sox tenfold. I wasn’t really a legit Colts fan until after Peyton’s run, so I can’t claim those.

I seriously don’t know how I would react when we win. I can’t wait to find out.

As much as I HATE Michigan I don’t want to play them every year. OSU will always be their #1 rival and I won’t want to Michigan State myself into thinking our #1 rival has a rival team that we’re second fiddle to
