Just had to find the guy.

Tbh, on September 7th, I doubted he was the guy. Too many mistakes, too many of those games for where ND was, and in year 3!

But, he learned and he grew.

And now, by everything we all hold dear, he is the fucking guy .

Jack wouldn't have picked Freeman if the players weren't demanding him to pick him. He woulda taken Fickell.
Just stop. Before even getting to ND, he was involved in several massive sports deals that made Indy a leader in hosting major sporting events and moving the NCAA and other Olympic sports HQ's here. Swarbrick wasn't going to be intimidated by a bunch of football players.

Yup. And as currently constructed, I think this team still smacks the 2020 squad.

We've got a fast, physical, nasty, rocked up bunch of guys on the defensive side of the football. This defense is effing elite.
That's obvious when one is being coached by MF and the other is being coached by BK. lol

According to insiders on 247, Freeman already had the support of literally the entire administration and boosters, to the point people (whales, really) are throwing money at NIL. This win will only strengthen their resolve. ND supposedly has $40 million in NIL reserves right now, undergrad transfers are no longer persona non grata, and admissions is working with the program because they have developed a trust that Freeman will not take non-fits.

I said it once I'll say it again, the giant is awake.
Well we are actually in the early stages of the Free Manera.

I dont mean to be petty and this is MFMF's thread... but i think it's relevant

That game would have been over before halfway through the 1st quarter with the last guy.

Bryce Young would have got the first running into the kicker, BK would have turned purple trying to embarrass him on the sideline... and that would have been ball game.

MFMF said, "I don't mind aggressive penalties" and we won.

True.
That said, Young didn't really *have* to go for the block the second time did he? Though perhaps Georgia could've made some modest effort to block him.

I think it was just the mentality that's being coached. He went a little too far on the second one, agreed. But he didn't get reamed for it. He got a bit of a talking to by Biagi...

MF went out of his way to say he wasn't mad about it after the 1q.

I love it.

Random thought on the Peacock series. In episode1 MF takes notes from Lou Holtz, the message of which seemed to be a lot of what Freeman was preaching all season. I thought it was very cool and showed the reverence he has for Lou. I just watched last night which is why I’m bringing this up.
