Georgias got like 3 guys in their 2 deep transferring already
As I said in the other thread, get past IU by playing sound football. Just let the talent take over.

And, then, Georgia is getable with how beat up they are and how physical we can be.

It does suck as Indiana, Boise, and SMU would all get spanked by Bama, Ole Miss, and probably South Carolina. But oh well...lol
That is total hyperbole and assumption. Alabama got boat raced by OU in their last game of the the year to go to the playoffs without even having to go to their conference championship and they couldn’t get up for it now you are saying they would stomp 3 quality opponents that are all good enough to beat OU.

Texas was its own worst enemy against Georgia. Racked up over 250 yards in the first half and only managed to put 6 points on the board.

Tech dominated their front 7 - rushed for nearly 300 yards and just shy of 600 total yards.

They have talent but they've had their asses handed to them several times.
Agreed they should have gotten more points, but THIS is worrying...

That being said, Indiana has the best defensive stats between the two...so I will focus on worrying about Indiana first.

I read that Penn State students had their allotment reduced from its usual amount during the season in exchange for more public seats being available and many are pissed that they won't be able to see the game.

Listen....I'm so stoked that Bama had 3 losses this year and missed the playoffs. Couldn't be happier! But I'm not a fool....if Bama played those 3 teams 100 times, it would play out something like this:

Boise St would win 6 games out of 100.
SMU would win 7 at most.
Indiana would win 2 or 3.

Now if Bama played the top teams 100 times, I think it would go like this.

Oregon- Bama beats them 43 times.
UGA - Bama beats them 55 times.
Texas - Bama beats them 35 times
ND - Bama beats them 40 times.

My point is, just because NIU beat Bama and made them look silly doesn't mean they aren't better than the Clemson's (they'd win 10 times) of the world. Sometimes a team just gets caught slipping.

PS ..excuse me, I meant OU not NIU but I left it because it helps my point.

IMO the lack of rushing yards had a lot to do with Texas's play calling. They threw way too much, Ewers took a ton of sacks, they got behind the sticks and abandoned the run. A one possession game against ND would look very different.

They have to beat Indiana before half the board can piss their pants over Georgia so let's just enjoy the ride for now.

Just so everyone understands, the odds for Texas and Penn State are a direct reflection of their easier path. PSU and Texas are the only teams that would need to play just two “hard” games to win a title. All others play at least 3.

Im still convinced that if we beat UGA we won't be playing Penn State next. I think Franklin will pull a Franklin and they'll be the surprise early bounce.

I think SMU has a very legit shot to beat them. I'd argue SMU's wins against Lville and Pitt are better than any 2 wins PSU had. Very similar scheduling to IU.

Nothing would bring me more joy than OSU, PSU, and Indiana all getting bounced in the first round.

OSU is the sleeping giant IMO. Woulda could a shoulda beat Oregon and then did some dumb shit against UM.... Which will probably just feed the beast. I love that side of the bracket, but I fully expect OSU to come out on top of that side.

All teams are beatable this year. I can't say one "scares" me...but there's a lot of strong ones.

Oregon should scare us a little. I saw the same thing with PSU running power at them, but they're really good and really really well coached.

Plus I live in Eugene so I would be watching alone in an underground bunker if we played them.

If we won I wouldn't come out for a week. If we lost... I wouldn't come out.
