Fuck Heather Denich
Care to elaborate for those who aren’t watching ESPN currently?Fuck Heather Denich
Going on again about notre dame losing this week. She’s all about her 3 loss sec team making it.Care to elaborate for those who aren’t watching ESPN currently?
I don’t know what ESPN pays her but I do know it’s way too much.Going on again about notre dame losing this week. She’s all about her 3 loss sec team making it.
Barring said Michigan miracle the Oregon-Ohio State loser will almost certainly be the five seed, right?Unfortunately, don’t think ND can get seeded any better than 6 with that logjam of B1G in the top 5.
Really need PSU to drop one of these last two, and maybe hope for a Michigan miracle against OSU
Yes, Bama in South Bend in late December, pretty sure they haven't played in cold like that in a long time if ever. Average high of 38 low of 26.Hopefully Indiana gets boat raced this weekend and we play well the next two weeks.
I want an SEC team to have to come north so bad.

Hate to break it to you but two things I am pretty sure of: ND and Bama won’t be playing each other in the first round and R. Williams is 27 in a 17 year old body.In an ideal world, I would get to watch Benmo lock down Ryan Williams and listen to bama fans for the next 9 months make the excuse that he's only 17.

That doesn't really have much to do with Penn State. And if we could win by more than three points in OT against USC that'd probably help us vis a vis them.
Indiana will drop when they lose to Ohio State on Saturday, and if we're 6th now, it's hard to see any of the two-loss SEC teams jumping us without winning the conference title. There's not a lot of big games left in that conference.
Us slotting in at 6 or 7 would be fine. Honestly all I care about is A: a home game B: Not against Bama or Georgia.
It probably depends a bit on the score of B1G title game but if Ohio State's only two losses are close to the #1 team, and they've beaten IU and Penn State, they'll still have a top five resume. My thinking on the SEC teams is not that they wouldn't/shouldn't slot ahead of us b/c two losses so much that, except for whoever makes the SEC title game, they don't really have chances for wins big enough to jump ahead of us now.I just have a tough time believing they would slot a two loss OSU over ND, which is the same logic you had for the 2 loss SEC teams.
Idk I’m not even gonna worry about it at this point. Beat Army and SC, host a playoff game, the rest of the top 12 will shake itself out
Let’s drink 18 beers and try not to lose fingers on Dec 21
IDK how you can say that with Indiana likely losing this week, and Texas having a tough game @A&M.Unfortunately, don’t think ND can get seeded any better than 6 with that logjam of B1G in the top 5.

Just look at it this way...ND ranking + 2 = seeding. Because there will be 2 teams ranked lower that will get auto byes (Big 12 champ and ACC champ). So ND will have to pass IU, Penn St, and either Oregon or Ohio St (and not have anyone else jump them) to get to the #5 seed. That is a long shot.IDK how you can say that with Indiana likely losing this week, and Texas having a tough game @A&M.
Right, but assuming they lose to Ohio State, we should jump Indiana, which gets us to 7. We probably have a better resume than Penn State, especially if we can beat USC in more decisive fashion than they did. That could get us to 6. Agree 5's a longshot because we'd have to jump the Ohio State-Oregon loser, and possibly Texas if Bama were to beat them in the SEC championship.Just look at it this way...ND ranking + 2 = seeding. And whatever happens in the SEC is irrelevant because the SEC champ will inevitably be the #2 seed.
It's definitely because of our shiny gold helmets. And Rudy. Obviously.Oh the haters... Who is this clown? Notre Dame bamboozles College Football Playoff committee's bracket with helmet magic
I'm all for this but I'm not convinced conferences would buy in. How much money do those conference championships bring? If Boise St gets a first round bye, it will guarantee the end of the first round bye format. I'll keep banging this drum - eliminate conference championship games and start playoffs a week earlier.
Idk, but wouldn't another round of playoffs bring in more?I'm all for this but I'm not convinced conferences would buy in. How much money do those conference championships bring?
Probably only to the qualifying school right? Revenue sharing to the table scrappers would prolly vote no. But I'm not a business man so IDK lolIdk, but wouldn't another round of playoffs bring in more?
