The DJ was great last night, and I don't get what anyone has against the hype lady.

I think some of the things they are doing are catching the crowd off guard like the DJ Kool bit and the swag surfing they've been doing the last couple of games. They need to stick with as it starts catching on more each week.

Rome wasn’t built in a week…

The game atmosphere was definitely a step up from our day games.

Along with DJ Kool being there Bon Jovi was there and how great would it have been if a mix was done of a Bon Jovi song.

The light show was pretty good.

I was most impressed with the fireworks.

5 stars Meadows and Ament (bball) were there, looks like ND rolled out the red carpet. Looked impressive.
Especially given the fact you had a 1-win team in town.

I wonder if the majority of that was planned before FSU turned out to be dog shit.

Said the exact same thing to my friends when DJ Koop came out last night when we were there. No chance they paid him to come if they knew it was a 1 win FSU coming. But definitely something cool. Understandably the production was much better than the other home game I went to vs. NIU. MFMF has proven he can coach in the big games, so I’m all for scheduling more great teams to come to South Bend. Unfortunately other good teams are incredibly disincentivized from scheduling a team like us if it really only just hurts their playoff chances if they’re a conference championship contender. The name on the front of the jersey honestly matters more to the crowd atmosphere than the quality of the team, as evidenced by the 4th quarter war chants going on

The band spelled out Bon Jovi from what I saw on TV.

I was just coming to post my video from the stands. Might be able to see the light show better from this angle. For those that weren't there, they cut all the lights prior to the performance, crowd went wild.

Please get rid of the lame DJ and the annoying girl.

Disagree. I've gotten lambasted for my call to use more Classic Rock and less rave shit during games, but there was nothing wrong with DJ Kool and the hype girl is decent. It's better than introducing the world champion chess club during TV breaks (No offense to the chess club). From what I've seen at the OSU game and FSU last night she helps get the crowd going or at least entertained.

For those that weren't there, the halftime show was all Bon Jovi songs, and then Bon Jovi helped conduct the band from the ladder as they played the Victory March at the end. Crowd was loud for Livin' on a Prayer, of course.

I liked the fireworks too, especially during the player entrance. Dunno if you could see the fireworks from the broadcast as they came out, I got a video from just above the tunnel. They had them for the Star Spangled Banner too:

Doing the warchant up 40 points is gnarly as hell and I love it.

It was great. Did it come across during the broadcast? The students started it several times starting in the 4th quarter, a few times a lot of other sections joined in. I only got it recorded once, but there were better ones than this.
