2 days!!! I

I drop a deuce at 7:05am and again at between 11:40-11:44 depending on the day. If MF needs advice on how to drop a Deuce feel free to give him my contact info. I'm really solid at them.

I'm for the players getting paid but these new rules allowing unlimited visits that you can get paid to take are ridiculous. No matter where he winds up, none of this is a flattering look for Deuce.

Someone is going to be awful pissed if he doesn't end up at Auburn after dropping $200K for him to visit.

Undergrad transfer from Auburn to ND?This assumes someone nuked everyone associated with our admissions in the past few decades, yes? 😂
If he transferred after his Freshman year then he should be able to make it through admissions. If he's at Auburn for multiple years and doesn't have his degree than he won't be able to, based on what we've seen so far. To my knowledge, the only people who have been able to transfer to ND as non-grad transfers who were multiple years out of HS in recent years are Brandon Joseph and Riley Leonard. They came from NW and Duke, two elite Academic institutions. My guess is ND is only able to do this if you're coming from an elite Academic institution (NW, Duke, Stanford, Vanderbilt).

What football players have ever transferred in to ND after even one year somewhere else? It's pretty rare. The only others I can recall are Alohi Gilman - from Navy - and Amir Carlisle - from USC. Also basically peer institutions academically. Almost all our transfers are GTs.

Take the money. In any other capitalist venture we’d all agree you take the money and you’d be dumb for not doing it. I don’t blame him. It’s the game always has been. I won’t be mad at him at all. It’s why I have never even considered him being a part of the team until he actually shows up and begins taking snaps.

Props to MF for getting this far with a top tier qb from…. Checks notes … Mississippi. lol

I honestly don’t believe anyone is that stupid to put up that kind of money for a kid to visit without a guarantee of a return on that investment. I’m calling bullshit on it
Yea, I can see 4 or five digit numbers for each visit, maybe even $100k as sort of a visit fee/earnest money, but anything beyond that is bizarre. I’m also on the side that says Deuce would be stupid not to take the $100k and tell ND too bad if they don’t like it. If Auburn is going to shell out that kind of money without requiring a commitment, you take advantage even if you never intend on flaking on ND. Take the money while it’s there.

How do schools get away with paying high schoolers? I can’t imagine that is legal by the NCAA? Not that they would ever try to enforce it, but that doesn’t seem to be within the spirit of their NIL rules.

The only rule I’m aware of is that it can’t come directly from the school it has to be a third party. And any transaction has to be disclosed to the school by the player. The school is then required to notify NCAA. But that’s it. That’s all the rules in place unless state legislators have passed their own.

Heard he has been very open with ND. Told them that he is still committed but getting 100k to visit he cannot turn down. If that is true do you blame him
Lol...I'd tell him if your committed it's real easy to turn down.

Bro, I love ND to my core, but if Michigan asked me to visit for $100k and told me I had to take a dump on Rockne's grave first...I think Knute would understand coming from a poor background. You better believe my first stop once I get back is the bookstore to buy ND merch with that scUM $$$.

I ain't proud, but the point is imagine a high schooler getting offered that kind of cash and they're not even as invested as a big fan. Pretty hard to turn that down.

You can call bullshit all you want, but naivete is basically how ND has put themselves behind the biggest boys of CFB for the last 30 years.
