Best team they’ve had in 30 years. Georgia, etc are good. But aren’t the world beaters in the past. ND had a chance, that chance is super small now. The oline was sketchy before which is fucking amazing to me. A mediocre offensive line at Notre Dame should never happen.

It's a blow for sure, but if we're acting like the season's over because we lost a guy who has started one game of college football, we may not be doing this correctly.

Notre Dame is not at a point in its program where one injury "ends the season." Is this a blow? Sure. But let's all take a few plays off.

He's only started one game, and has had rather mixed reviews, up-and-down performances, so far in practices and scrimmages to date... including the first few from the fall camp. Long term it may be an issue, because again, you are looking to find your next LT next season.

Oline was "sketchy" because they had to replace a Top 10 LT and a RT that went in the second round. Your rush to declare them "mediocre" over the loss of one player is pretty hysterical.

I think any time a team loses 3 starters including their two tackles, they'll be viewed as sketchy until we see it on the field. 120+ teams would give anything to have the caliber of recruits we have on our line.

I'd rather have an unproven player than a backup lineman who has started 25 games and is a senior like Josh Lugg or Kristofic.
