Was the best middle schooler I’ve ever seen play lacrosse, but that was many years ago. He’s probably going to need a full year of development to see if he can recapture the potential he had, but he was at one time the top rated lax player in his class.

How long do you think it will take him to detox all the deer antler spray and HGH laced grits he had while at Bama?

I love this for Tyler. I hope he can regain his prior LAX form and help propel the ND forward. It'd be a great story and we'll all be rooting for him. Seems like a genuinely good guy who has found the best 'fit' for himself.

It's the big money sport that has to count it, IIRC, so that sports like FB & BB can't get extra players by counting their scholly against other sports. Is that correct?

Correct, but it would only count against football if he were to get into a game. But, to your first point, I agree, I don’t believe he’s going to play both sports.

If this is even partially true then major props to Buchner. What a fucking coup. Go to Bama for a semester where you weren't going to play at ND --> get a million bucks --> transfer back to ND for your degree, maybe get a natty in football before you leave --> play on a top 5 lax team and maybe get a second ring.
