Probably, but god I hope not. We thought we were pissed at Hartman underwhelming as a passer? Just wait until you see Leonard attempt to throw it.
I don’t get that, he had less to work with than nd did at wr … was awesome in 2022 when his average wrs were healthy. Also his oline this year was completely banged up missing nfl starter lt, and another starter.

He is a really good athlete too, we’ll need that if both fisher and alt are gone

Maybe... but other schools who are recruiting that same QB will make him well aware of the issues that we have as a program right now...

We have had only two 1,000 yard wide receivers since 2015... that is something that would definitely get brought up.

That’s where recruiting comes in.

You have to trust the positive that comes out of MF exceeds the negative that comes out of them.

I think you are giving a lot of these guys too much credit in their decision making process.

Big if Riley. Throw stats out and watch any Duke game where he's healthy and you can tell he's the sun that their offense revolves around. Everyone looks for him to make the play, air or on foot.

Would be far better than Hartman.

I think what nd needs next year with super young oline potentially

Listening to the II podcast right now and O'Malley said that according to one of his contacts who is a Stanford insider, Stanford will now be allowed to take undergrad transfers.

It's complete BS that ND football isn't allowed to do this unless they're 1 year out of HS or coming from an elite institution like NW (Brandon Joseph). ND Basketball just took a kid from NW who was 2 years out of HS. If Stanford can take undergrad transfers then ND should be able to take pretty much anyone who is in good academic standing.

Typical. Even Stanford now.

He *absolutely* needs to be kept healthy, because he’s an under 50% thrower when facing any kind of pressure and he doesn’t like to stand in the pocket. That’s why he constantly runs, which is nice, but also leads to him taking hits and losing his ability to run, which leads to him being an under 50% thrower when facing any kind of pressure.

Brice hinted on the II pod that Leonard will be getting significant $$ offers from Oregon and Washington and might expect him to go there.
Dont forget USC. Lincoln Riley has the heisman history working in his favor. For that matter, Michigan and OSU are probably at least looking as well.

The unfortunate reality is that there are more empty chairs than there are QB's available and while I hate to be a dower, there is a significant chance that when the music stops, ND is left with nothing.

ND can offer money... but so can other schools. Unfortunately, the other schools have better offenses and give these QB's a better shot at getting to the NFL.

Leonard has NFL arm strength. We'll see what he can do with better talent around him.

They better not fumble the bag here like the OC search and end up with neither of them.

Leonard has way more NFL upside and I think that's a good add. When healthy, he has a ton of dual threat ability too.

From what I keep reading, ND is playing a dangerous game. Had Howard wrapped up long before. Family and Will were all set on ND. ND Called and told them tonight they are going with someone else.

Just read on Duke and K state 247s that’s where he’s going. Sounds like Howard was the guy until Leonard said he was coming. Howard and his family were set on ND all along until a hour ago. Leonard is now following pretty much all the ND players on insta.
Wishful thinking, but hopefully he reaches out to Tyree and gets him to reconsider.

It’s true. His most recent IG follows are Evans, Fisher, Watts, Kiser and Mills.
