There is no way in hell Freeman does not have the authority to make a change. I refuse to believe otherwise.Does Freeman have the authority to fire/demote him? What kind of 'control' does he actual have?
My hope is that Swarbrick's final act as ND's AD is to right the wrong of that OC search this offseason. There is no way in hell Freeman foes not have the authority to make a change. I refuse to believe otherwise.
EDIT: The real question, IMO, is whether or not he has the backing of his AD and admin to make the correct subsequent hire(s). Whether or not you believe Ludwig would have been the answer (HINT: he woulda been A LOT better than Parker), the fact that it went down like it did is a colossal black mark on the program.
I just don't think that dude gives a f**k right now. He has one foot out the door and the other worried about setting his kids up for life with bullshit UA and NBC contracts. I kind of hate that he'll likely be involved in this OC situation again before he exits. My hope is that Swarbrick's final act as ND's AD is to right the wrong of that OC search this offseason.
The best accent of them all, not to mention no different than Parker.Just watched a Charlie jr presser. Woof, take about a quick transition to a thick southern accent.
For real. Let's not act like the school doesn't recruit itself at TE at this point.finding a TE coach is the least of the worries. IIRC he had never been a TE coach before.
Maybe they’re just waiting on those assholes on CST and PST to be awake and alert. Was just getting ready to post something similar
No love for MST assholes?Maybe they’re just waiting on those assholes on CST and PST to be awake and alert.
Would they even be allowed to bring in another coach if they demote Parker and every coach on staff returns? Isn't there a limit?I doubt it happens, but I'd prefer a simple demotion back to TE Coach for Parker. Freeman and Parker are friends. Just be honest..."Hey this didn't work out, but I still need/want you on my staff as TE Coach." Float the option and let Parker do with it as he sees fit. It's possible he's willing to do that. The guy seems like a great fit at ND, just not as OC.
Correct, next year someone would have to go if you keep parker and bring in an outside OC. Most likely Gino as most OCs are also QB coaches.Would they even be allowed to bring in another coach if they demote Parker and every coach on staff returns? Isn't there a limit?
Leprechaun Kylee Kazenski can probably beat Porker in a pushup contest too, she did 58 for Pitt. The female leprechaun could coach our TE room
Baffling to me that they didn't leave him on the tarmac. Just move on.9 am on the east coast. This mufugga still have a job?

I'm hoping so. I think the offense needs a serious reset. Likely gonna lose DMC to opportunity. I'd be fine with replacing the rest.If you hire a top experienced OC, he’s not likely coming alone. He’s bringing at least a couple assistants that he trusts and values.
I thought I saw it was right at a milli a milli a milliDo we know what Parkers salary is?
The shakeup is inevitable; it be like BK in 2016... Clean house (may end being a default house cleaning by coach turnover)If you hire a top experienced OC, he’s not likely coming alone. He’s bringing at least a couple assistants that he trusts and values.
The health of the WR probably has a lot to do with it. Then you throw in Evans being injured this past weekend on top of that.I’d like to know why parts of our offensive playbook have simply disappeared after the first few weeks.
There’s either something going on being closed doors we’re unaware of or there is straight up negligence/malpractice going on in the offensive room. Neither makes me feel good at the moment.
Found some OC's elsewhere who have experience coaching TE's.
