But he had gone off the rails with inserting himself into ND’s business.
He openly admits he is mad because a friend of his didn’t get the Special Teams job. And he rides the current special teams coach hard. That’s his MO now.

Fake punt was huge last week.
Not his fault Freeman keeps choosing to kick 55 yard FGs.
Punts have been good.
Punt coverage good.
Kick coverage good.
And he recently made the adjustment to get Love & Price on KO return.

Punt return and kick return have done nothing… coverage units ok at best, we’ve given up a few kick off returns for yards, fg unit bad… punts good I’ll agree there, fake punt was first good thing they’ve done

Lets be fair, Special Teams aren't as good as last year, but last year was a banner year. It was an absurd number of punt blocks, the likes of which haven't been seen in a long time. The kicking was pretty damn good too. The one area I'd like to see improvement is the FG kicking. He's got the leg, but the accuracy isn't there.

BK was the one who told him to sit the fuck down.

Since 2009, so basically when BK took over in 2010, ND has been infinitely better over those 14 years than ND was the 14 previous years going back to ‘95.
