its almost as if hes some sort of uber chud
Almost?
its almost as if hes some sort of uber chud
Genuinely feel bad for this dude.
It's a valuable lesson and one I'm not going to forget. The coaches know more than we do. These guys don't play for a reason. Once you get past all the recruiting rankings and star bullcrap, it boils down to what you do day in and day out within a program. Or what you don't do I suppose.I remember many on this board saying that even though Book beat him out at ND, he would still definitely go higher in the draft than Book. Turns out he just stinks out loud.
I don’t want to get into the specific details or names, but it had a racial component to it & accusations that certain coaches were telling Phil who he should be hanging out with and what type of person he needed to stay away from. What things were he and his family doing/saying about ND and BK?
The most difficult type of dude to coach…….the one that won’t listen.I don’t want to get into the specific details or names, but it had a racial component to it & accusations that certain coaches were telling Phil who he should be hanging out with and what type of person he needed to stay away from.
For example, (hypothetically), spend more time studying your playbook & not hanging out with kids smoking weed.
But basically Phil & his parents spun coaches trying to actually coach Phil & make him a better QB into they were picking on him and telling him how to live.
Chip Long & Rees (and BK) were HARD on Phil. Everyone knows that. But it wasn’t because they didn’t like him or were playing favorites with Book (like Phil & his family says), it’s because he stunk and they were trying to get more out of him.
But as we have seen the past 3 years, Phil can’t take criticism or pressure. He just runs away & blames others.
This is completely unfair. He deserved to start at least through the ND game
Are you serious? I typically wish transfers well because most have been classy with their exit and it's usually for the best, but this chud has done nothing but blame others and has failed to take responsibility for his own shortcomings. He's not going to go far in life with that attitude. He's an asshole.Genuinely feel bad for this dude.

Can’t really picture Phil catching a ball on a crossing route over the middle with a LB heading his way……yeah, that experiment should end well. i expect a claypool level of blocking
Would love to see him try to pick up Cross on a T-E stuntyeah, that experiment should end well. i expect a claypool level of blocking
Yeah, not a chance he sees the field against us.Little late in the game to try this move
Move only makes sense if he as at least one year of eligibility left and hoping for a roster spot at LehighYeah, not a chance he sees the field against us.
You mean DuquesneMove only makes sense if he as at least one year of eligibility left and hoping for a roster spot at Lehigh
